Hey guys, if you know some songs that you would describe as beautiful, please share them with me, and the rest of SH.

Some examples that I have are "Sail on Soothsayer" by Buckethead, "Mirrors" by Between The Buried and Me and "The Great Plains" by Scale The Summit.

Not looking for any particular genre, but instrumentals would be preferred

I personally think from 3:44 to the end of Selkies by Between the Buried and Me is pretty beautiful

For The Love Of God - Steve Vai
Too Many Humans - Buckethead
Solitude - Black Sabbath
Always with me, Always with you - Joe Satriani
Lenny - Stevie Ray Vaughn
Most Pink Floyd

Ehm.. Used to have a chilled playlist for when I was.. "Chilling" :P

I'll see if I can find it, was full of awesome songs similar to these.

With Me by Sum 41.
A Certain Romance by Arctic Monkeys < Some of the best lyrics in the world, written when the lead singer was only 17.
Tears Don't Fall (Acoustic) < Fantastic and easy to play and sing.
(Good Riddance)Time of Your Life by Greenday (everyone knows this so won't link).

A lot of Pearl Jam, and Pink Floyd.[/url]

Porcelain by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Probably looked over by a lot of people because it's slow and such, but honestly, it's one of the most beautiful songs I can think of.

Also, Common Reactor by Silversun Pickups. Really simple and a little calming, though up beat and catchy. Just the way his voice sounds through most of the song soothes me.

The regular Soothsayer - Buckethead. Ridiculously gorgeous.

The Ongoing Horrible - Maps & Atlases. Great song.

To some extent A Moment of Silence by Streetlight Manifesto; it's not the guitar-based beautiful like so many of these other songs but the music flows well, the lyrics are meaningful, and it's just a great song.

Jason Becker's entire solo discography. Like, seriously. In my opinion, the greatest musician of the past 100+ years.

Serenade of Water from Ocarina of Time.

That is probably the most glorious 20 or so seconds of musical bliss ever created in a video game.

Most of Kaki King's stuff takes me to nice places. "Joi", "Night After Sidewalk", and "Neanderthal" in particular. Recommended for anyone who enjoys the Mongrain track.
