So you liked ITAOTS, did you?

Check out other folky indie rock.

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
The Antlers - Hospice
Arcade Fire - Funeral

Are 3 fairly similar indie-folk styled bands with albums that have deeply meaningful lyrics and are accompanied by great music to deepen the mood.

Dat avatar.

Can't wait until a recording comes out for Jeff Mangum's show a few weeks ago. The YT clips I saw made semen stain the mountaintops

For a lot of music, whether or not I want to listen to it totally depends on what mood I'm in. This album is perfect and I can listen to it over and over regardless of mood.

...'nuff said really.

I don't think it's all that great. I think if you would listen to very much post-rock at all it wouldn't be that great for you, either.

I look into lyrics more then how the song sounds. The lyrics are flawless in this album. The music could be a little better, but its pretty much a masterpiece, IN MY OPINION.

Ah, well, I can see how that'd be an issue, considering 3/4 of post-rock is instrumental. I establish little connection between the quality of music and the lyrics, so I imagine that's one of the reasons I don't like this album. Most of the music doesn't really get me going, and honestly I find the vocals a tad annoying.

Of course, an opinion.
