So you liked ITAOTS, did you?
Check out other folky indie rock.
Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
The Antlers - Hospice
Arcade Fire - Funeral
Are 3 fairly similar indie-folk styled bands with albums that have deeply meaningful lyrics and are accompanied by great music to deepen the mood. |

Can't wait until a recording comes out for Jeff Mangum's show a few weeks ago. The YT clips I saw made semen stain the mountaintops _________________

For a lot of music, whether or not I want to listen to it totally depends on what mood I'm in. This album is perfect and I can listen to it over and over regardless of mood.

If anyone was wondering or was curious, my favorite songs from the album are The King of Carrot Flowers Pt 1, Pt 2 - 3, Oh Comely, Two Headed Boy Pt 1, and Two Headed Boy Pt 2. _________________

I don't think it's all that great. I think if you would listen to very much post-rock at all it wouldn't be that great for you, either. _________________

I look into lyrics more then how the song sounds. The lyrics are flawless in this album. The music could be a little better, but its pretty much a masterpiece, IN MY OPINION. _________________

Ah, well, I can see how that'd be an issue, considering 3/4 of post-rock is instrumental. I establish little connection between the quality of music and the lyrics, so I imagine that's one of the reasons I don't like this album. Most of the music doesn't really get me going, and honestly I find the vocals a tad annoying.
Of course, an opinion. _________________
