well how it SHOULD have charted in RB was quad zigzags around 14nps (estimate) so maybe they're actually doing that this time instead of the bullshit harmonix pulled

I reposted this initial track list on my blog and included youtube links for each song so that people can check out the ones they have not heard.

I tried to use official music videos or master tracks when appropriate. I don't know what live versions they will use for Pour Some Sugar or Sharp Dressed Man so those are just guesses.

Anyways, check it out if you think you would find it helpful.

On a more ontopic note, Indians by Anthrax is gonna be one of the hardest drums songs.

What? What do drums having 5 lanes and an extra bass note have anything to do with songs repeating from RB? Alright, if they port over stuff like Sleepwalker or Souls of Black that's one thing, but for Everlong? Mountain Song? And even then you're talking slight differences in a chart that is largely the same--and a chart for one instrument only!
RB repeats still factor into my decision for buying a game, and they will for the guitar-playing majority.

That one bass note makes a world of difference between "Easy as piss" and "homaigod what the fuck". Just look at Laser Cannon Deth Sentence, Painkiller, etc.

Also, they aren't porting over anything. They're getting songs for their platform that happen to already be available in the Rock Band platform. Songs available in Guitar Hero is not influenced in any way by songs available in Rock Band. There is an enormous number of people who don't like the way Harmonix charts, want double bass, like open notes, like tapping sections, or like the engine difference. There are so many reasons to have songs available on both platforms that this argument just makes my mind boggle.

For the people who hate Guitar Hero, why shouldn't Rock Band get those songs?

Hmm, other than looking really werid. It looks like it will be a pretty good game. Setlist looks good too.

Anyone think you'll be able to import these songs into GH5?

ScoreHero IRC info and ScoreHero IRC Rules

Very excited for this game so far, setlist looks great. Dancing Through Sunday is the perfect choice from AFI, and even though I'm not a Megadeth fan Sudden Death sounds like it's going to be really fun to play. The boss battles in GH3 are 3 of my favorite charts, and this one sounds like it'll be right up there with them.

Jesus Christ this setlist looks crazy good. Probably buying this depending on the remaining setlist.

I did not expect "Bat Country" to be in there too. Consider me crying. Of happiness, of course

Before someone goes ahead and questions my excitement like an asshole, like it was done on the Band Hero thread when I showed my excitement for the two No Doubt songs, I can't get on XBL, so no DLC.

Anyway, this game is guaranteed to be fun to sing, if they at least keep the core of the vocal engine intact.

I just hope they don't make the hard chart of "Fury of the Storm" like they made the TTFAF hard chart.

That's like... too hard.

It'll be alright if they made the hard charts like they made the DF pack ones 'cause they're still challenging and also easier to play!

The setlist looks good but I see 4 songs on this preview that have already been in other games. (Bat Country, Feels Like the First Time, Bodies, Sharp Dressed Man) Why do they keep doing that? Still, I'm sure it is much better than GH5.
