Thanks Kristen.
On a 2nd note, I didn't realize I suck this bad at this song... Things are not looking good for me right now... lol. But I'll do what I can. Any body else look at the beginning of the solo think WTF is this?!?! |

I am not feeling confident at all about this week. Just played the song a bunch of times and I'm not doing so hot. We'll see what happens I guess _________________

I know exactly how you feel. I can by no means guarantee a solo b FC, but I feel like I at least have a chance at that. Solo a is just random crap. _________________

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. For other (like me) who don't tap well, try moving this section into the 3rd position. I find that to make it easier (still not easy).
Also, for those of you struggling with the triplets in Solo B, if you trying it one handed, start the first set up triplets way early. You'll be suprised on how early you can start with out dropping the combo. Anyways, it helps me FC this section 2 out of 3 times on average.
Now to the bad news... I am having a very hard time comboing the fast strumming where the SP is used . I can do it occationally, but not consistantly. Needless to say, it is killing my score! Hopefully I can learn how to strum before midnight on Saturday |

Gah, how do people tap descending triplets so fast? The only way I can go kind of fast with descending triplets is with alt tapping, which I suck at. I can now get solo a reasonably well, but those triplets in b are killing me. _________________

Ah well, I think I won't have much time to play on Friday or Saturday so there's a good chance that today's score will be the best I'm getting. Could've been better but we'll see. _________________

Hopefully you'll get some more time to play Pertsams. I honestly don't think you have too much to worry about unless I figure out how to consistantly strum the SP phrases. |

For the parts like intro c and pre-chorus 1, pretend the hopos don't even exist, and burst strum everything. For the parts like verse 1, try starting every 5 note burst on a downstrum (which means you will downstrum two notes in a row once every measure, doesn't really matter where), and alt-strumming the rest of the pattern. Also, if you aren't already doing so, try strumming everything slightly early, instead of on time. Hopefully this helps. _________________

Yeah, just do burst strums of 7, forget about the hammerons. It's like FFWF only slower and without the bursts of 3. But you do hate that song so <_<
Anyway I am unbearably tired of this song, and reluctantly sticking with the score I got, despite believing I can do better. Now I can't hit the pre chorus fill that comes up six times anymore. I quit. _________________

Thanks for the advice Dave and Bulblax. I'll give that a try and hopefully it will help. I've always struggled a bit with my strumming but it just means I need to work on it.
I think I already know my fate for this week... What ever happens, league has been awesome this season. |
