That's not a bad idea. I haven't really touched Band Hero in the last five years. I think I will go after some reduxes with Band Hero and grind out a few songs on each game to up my total as well. Good luck!

So a bunch of things as I'm playing Band Hero (and mind you this is after an 11h shift as receptionist by myself without taking a break)
1) man this game is kinda boring...
2) I choked American Pie pretty badly on my SR.
3) I'm actually proud I was able to FC Black Cat
4) I'm kinda not proud I had to go into practice mode
5) Speaking of practice mode, holy shit those section titles are so unnecessarily large......
6) Because of boredom and tiredness, I should've had about 17 of the first 20 songs FC'ed.....
Either way, 5,852,835 in 2 hours of playing and 1/3 of the setlist is not too shabby!

Don't be "kinda not proud"! I remember when I was grinding out the FGFC when nobody was really playing it competitively, and Black Cat was the bane of my existence at the time. It wasn't SO overtly hard, but for whatever reason it was tricky enough to elude me for a bit. That's quite a haul of points in a short amount of time, keep it up!

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/06/2015, enjoy. Things were fairly quiet this week, but changes happened to all but Easy. Over on Medium, we had (916) more points from tannernieland11 extending his O211 lead, and 37,283 points from dramacomic, seriously there are points you didn't have yet? Over on Hard, we had 3,788 points from arvain, 167,536 points from DrSham, and a hefty haul of 849,889 points from tt122112. Finally, on Expert, we had (1,140) points from freakshowexcess, 3,411 points from ihatebarracuda, 4,470 points from alexhaz64, 17,585 poits from xXGhostTypeXx, 534,309 points from Graf, 586,591 points from RobGHHH, and the reappearance of 2003041 onto the Grand Total boards. Pretty solid week, considering finals and all. I will give the nod of the week to RobGHHH, not sure he has gotten one before. Lets see if more excitement happens next week.
As for me, the norm, work, exercise, Hearthstone and Diablo3. Work is in the final week of quiet time, and then its just tidying up before the summer break and the real work begins. Exercise, I have committed to getting in more work out days, and today will mark the first time I have worked out 3 days in a row in a year or so, wish me luck. Diablo3 is starting to stale, solo, I have done all I pretty much can until I get lucky with ancient weapon drops, but multiplayer remains fun, for when I get my wife and friends to play. Hearthstone, I got the last wing of the expansion, beat everything and have new cards. Added new cards to decks, much fun was had, then I realized that I ran out of goals really. Hard to say if I keep playing this game much longer, the RNG determines way too many matches, and not giving all players access to all cards greatly skews the playing field. Maybe I will play plastar more soon, its been too long. Have a great week all.

1st place O211 all games medium feels good though  I just need GH3 for easy left for O211 Easy and Medium first place. Might do hard after thats done..I've already started it somewhat on GH3.

2003, how is this for an incentive? Just putting in a score for each of your remaining songs should net you 10.5 million or so, solidly putting you at 34th on the Overall board, and likely never bumping you off again.

Damn, I thought in the past I got a great score for every song I didn't FC.
And my remaining FCs are so hard that I don't use SP when I grind them, to get that little extra chance of FCing. So imagine my reaction today when I noticed my FC score of yesterday was +30k from my best score (Hot For Teacher GH:WT( !!!
So I gave it some more runs today with SP to get a decent score. Not going for ReFC obv. Got a nice +115k on the song :D
Points. I like points.
EDIT: Managed a little +50k on Satch Boogie :p

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/13/2015, enjoy. There was movement on every board this week except for Easy, pretty par for the course there. On the Medium boards, we saw a modest gain from arvain with (1,156) points, neat to see him playing the old school games again. For Hard, we had 1,428 points from arvain, (25,210) points from skinnywhitecomic (welcome back!), 28,976 points from tt122112, and 136,156 points from DrSham. Finally, for Expert, we had 436 points from ihatebarracuda, 2,883 points from alexhaz64, (6,396) points from MrOmyA, 2,883 points from alexhaz64, (2,879) points from freakshowexcess, 18,750 points from tt122112, (22,716) points from arvain, 37,261 points from xXGhostTypeXx, 168,398 points from Naruto42, and a nice haul of 248,102 points from Graf. Very solid work all the way around, but I will give the nod this week to arvain for sizeable increases on two boards, nice to see him motivated again. Naruto42 seems to be running out of guitar points, so we will see if his promise to go for bass soon holds up. Next week should be interesting, what with many people done for the semester and celebrating.
As for me, more of the same, work, exercise, Hearthstone, Diablo3. For work, testing is finishing up, which means end of the year odds and ends and prepping for our real work, the 11 weeks of summer. Exercise, I have managed to work out 4 days in a row last week, and the first 2 this week, although I have to mow instead today prior to rain tomorrow. Hearthstone, I have changed quite a few decks around, but am largely frustrated as I repeatedly lose to the same epic and legendary cards over an over, which I have never managed to get myself, bleh. Diablo3, I finally got a Dagger of Darts for my Carnevil build, which singlehandedly vaulted me 3 spots on the solo GRs, and is markedly better, despite being a sheet loss of 17% dps, due to not being ancient. If I got an ancient DoD, and an ancient zuni offhand (which I have now gone through nearly 5000 shards trying to gamble), I would achieve my end goal for the character, and maybe be able to push to GR50. Otherwise, I pretty much steamroll everything in Diablo, and its just turning into a routine grind. Likely, I will take a break from both games soon, just due to burnout, E/M FSFCs in the future for me? Nah, likely just some more active playing time. Have a good week all.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/20/2015, enjoy. Typical week for guitar, with activity on all but the Easy board this week. On Medium, we had the ever diligent dramacomic, with a weekly haul of 51,240 points, still 2.3 million short of zlinkneo on the Grand Total board. For Hard, we had 4,818 (4,811) points from tt122112, (12,244) points from arvain, and a ranking bump with 226,224 points from DrSham. Finally, for Expert, it was 1,450 points from Sammy90, 8,697 points from ihatebarracuda, 10,261 points from alexhaz64, and 286,462 from tt122112. Pretty decent week all the way around, lets give the nod of the week to Sammy90, I think its been quite some time since he got a callout. Lets see if we have more action next week.
As for me, more of the same, work, Diablo3, Hearthstone, and exercise. For exercise, I managed two weeks in a row of 4 days, last week I did three due to an odd end of week, and this week I have been sick, so none so far. Diablo3, I am grinding out the last gems that I have as a goal to get them all to at least level 35, once that happens, I have the barb and monk to finish gearing and then I likely will stop for a while. Hearthstone, I am not entirely sure why I keep playing it, I just do the daily, grumble about RNG and people having better epic and legendary cards and quit after the daily. Work is quiet, teachers are officially finishing up quarterly testing and now in coast mode. Summer projects are taking shape, with nothing too onerous, should be a busy 9 weeks as per usual. Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/27/2015, enjoy. There was movement on every board but Easy again, per normal. Medium guitar saw the always reliable dramacomic, somehow finding another 186,631 points to add to his insane totals. Over on Hard, it was InsolentWill with 3,205 points, and DrSham with a large total for him of 276,600 points, a solid week from both players. Finally, over on Expert, we had 1,656 points from alexhaz64, (2,473) points from freakshowexcess, 7,295 points from Kerfoot32, 13,255 points from EXEprog527 on the Grand Total, 25,620 points from Naruto42, 47,727 points from 2003041 with 840k more on the Grand Total board, and a massive influx of 1,721,126 points from RobGHH in a single week. I have to give the nod to RobGHH, as that was an impressive single week gain, and I don't remember giving him a nod before now, good work. Solid week from all players that added scores, lets keep it up for next week.
As for me, the usual, work, Hearthstone, Diablo3, sick. I was sick for 5 days, started feeling better, then got hammered by a new cold immediately after, and I am just now feeling normal again. The only thing worse than a cold in warm weather are two back to back, bleh. Hearthstone continues to be a grind, I bought lots of packs with the gold I saved up, and.. nothing, pretty much the same cards I have been stuck at, ah well. Diablo 3 has been fun, got two very rare weapon drops in two days, set a new personal best GR at 43, a two person best with the wife at 44, and destroyed a 45 last night with two friends and the wife for a new 4 player record. I have run out of easy to level gems, so I might be shelving my WD for a bit, no ancient offhand after over 30,000 shards gambled is frustrating. Work is in the final days of the school year, and all the wrap up that comes with it. Being sick yesterday made today hectic, but things will only get busier next week with the beginning of our real work.
As for the pool, it has not been started due to me being sick 11 of the last 12 days. I will need to change the sand fully on the filter, then do the normal opening routine. My usual pool store closed the location near me, so I have to go with their competitor, which may mean different chemicals, etc. This will be an interesting year, but hopefully, with some luck, the opening goes smoothly this time. For Hard, we had 122,057 points from InsolentWill, and 890,338 points from DrSham. On Expert, we had 6,579 points from alexhaz, 16,629 points from PinkiePie, (16,988 points) from Undead, 19,673 points from ready2rock, 25,288 points for Kerfoot32, 37,251 points from ihatebarracuda, 159,421 points from 2003041, and 350,893 points from tt122112. I will give the nod of the week to DrSham for most points, congrats to him. Decent week all around, lets keep it up.
As for me, work, hearthstone, diablo3, pool. Work has begun summer stuff, and I was hammered all week long, getting both summer school up and running, and helping wipe out two buildings with my team. We are well ahead of schedule, and summer school seems to have started well, so that's a great sign. Hearthstone is now to the point that I have little patience with it. I lose to the same cards over and over, that I never get as my random pack cards, and frankly its really really getting old. Diablo3, I finally got my ancient offhand piece, have two pieces of gear left to get as ancient on my WD, and hopefully an ancient Dagger of Darts (last is not happening but I can dream). Pool cover came off on Sunday, I cleaned all that up and filled it. Then, I had to vacuum out a ton of stuff, plus left over chemicals for 3 straight days. The debris is all out of the pool, chemicals are balanced, and clarifier is in it, so maybe it will clear up soon. I might get into the pool this weekend, scrub the walls and possibly vacuum it again. No drama this time in opening it, other than my wife not holding her end of the cover when we pulled it off, and dumping in ALL of the contents, hence all the vacuuming. Good times. | Added 10,000 in GH3 hard so I think I'll move up one in the third column. Now only a little less than 2 million and I'll catch the next person. |
