Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 04/13/2017, enjoy. There was action on every board this week, a very good week indeed. For Easy, we had (3,015) points from voidedalive2x whom keeps finding points after all this time. Next, on Medium, we had DrSham add 570,907 points to the Grand Total, I guess he is getting to enjoy his GH:L. Moving onto Hard, it was sukergod with 2,595 points on the Grand Total, nice work there. Finally, for Expert we had PinkiePie91, whom gained 12,222 points, working slowly towards that 242 million still. Decent week all around, I will give the nod to DrSham for most points, lets hope for more/better action next week.

As for me, work, Diablo3, knee. Work has been quiet, but I did get all the machines prepped for MAP testing, so its just a matter of waiting until May. For Diablo3, today marks the end of the 2nd week, and I just hit 600 paragon, and am lacking only a third conquest to finish Guardian, chapter 9 of 9 for the season. I am going to try to solo the Sprinter conquest of beating the entire game in an hour, but it likely won't happen, hopefully, I can get a good group for it and only have to try it once with a group. The wife almost has chapter 4 done for the season, which is more or less her goal at this point. I went back for my follow up to the Orthopedic surgeon on Monday and he was very impressed with my progress. The physical therapists are also quite happy and wore me out this week by adding real weight to my exercises. I left drenched in sweat both days. Sometime in the next couple of days I get to try to mow the lawn, which should be interesting. That's about it, have a good week all.

Hmm... 242m... without another random growth in skill, I don't see it happening. Maybe 241.8, but even that without a new FC, don't see that happening. Unless I feel like reduxing GH:L/I would guess GH2 or GH3 most likely have the most points for me to gain. Also, almost 200 pages! (Which may slightly be breaking posting, as I'm getting the "You can't make a post so soon after another one" or whatever it is)

That one is from clicking "submit" too many times, or if you hit submit twice and don't realize it's still trying to load the first one.

Anyways, it's not like I'm completely cut off from points; the only game and difficulty I'd say I've maxed out is GH1M. The rest still have some room to maneuver around in.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 04/20/2017, enjoy. There was action on all but the Hard boards today, pretty good. For Easy, we had voidedalive2x gain (10,365 points), and PinkiePie91 begin in earnest grabbing 585,194 points, very nice week gents. Over on Medium, we had sjay nab 593,665 points, but was overshadowed by DrSham on the overall with a massive 1,270,565 points, I guess he is finishing out GH:L still. Finally, over on Expert, we had PinkiePie91 gain (7,299) points, I guess 242 million is a bit off. I will give the nod to PinkiePie91 for action on two boards this week, always nice to see. Lets hope for more action next week.

As for me, work, Diablo 3, knee, birthday. Work is continuing its slow march towards end of term testing, and with it the slowest part of the year, nothing else to report really. Diablo3, I have made zero progress on that last Conquest I needed for Guardian, so instead, I rolled a second character, a Demon Hunter again, as I had so much fun with it last season. So far, I have gotten the character nearly all the pieces for the UE MS build, although they could all be better pieces for sure. This means I should be able to get the Conquest for 6 sets clearing a 55 GR pretty easily, having already done 4/6. My knee seems to have plateaued and not improved since my last post. Its not getting any better, but I no longer notice day to day improvements, so its a tad frustrating. Mostly, its at the point where its annoying for squatting, stairs, sleeping, and right after exercise but otherwise is pain free.

It's my birthday tomorrow, and I am going to officially be old, having completed 40 orbits of the sun. My friends and family have some sort of fun scheduled for me, so it should be interesting. Have a good week all.

Nope, not touched GHL Medium yet, still finishing off Band Hero. I've got 21 songs and about 4.36m pts left so a good few weeks work left. Still trying for a FGFC 1st and now up to 30/65 so almost half way there although by the end I expect to be short, maybe 50 1sts is a better target, but I still aim to be 1st overall.

And happy birthday!!! Not old yet though, I'm 50 next year!

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 04/27/2017, enjoy. There was action on all four difficulties this week, even if the changes were almost all very small. Starting on Easy, we had voidedalive2x gain (2,661) points and now is less than 40k from top 10 on the O211, nice work there. For Medium, it was DrSham, with 378,644 more points on the Grand Total on his continuing challenge for a FG1st, getting close now, 19 more scores to enter. Moving onto Hard, it was Davers (whoa long time no see!) with 269,559 points, welcome back! Finally, for Expert, we had 400 points from AnarchyInTheCA in his typically monthly update, nice work there. I will give the nod of the week to Davers for coming back and saying hello with a few new score increases, always nice to see veterans returning. Lets hope for more of the same next week.

As for me, work, knee, Diablo3, birthday. Work is all quiet still, with the testing set to begin on Monday. We switched over all their Chromebooks, and everything should be good to go, we will know soon enough. Diablo3, I finished my last conquest for Guardian on Sunday, so now I have approximately 8 weeks to do whatever I want. Currently, I am grinding the seasonal gems to level 70, and then I may stockpile GR tokens and bounty mats for the conversion over to non season. Not sure if I will bother with augmenting gear or pushing for a new GR record, despite how much fun UE MS is. My knee is sore, but that's due to my last PT visit yesterday really pushing me, and checking to see that its fine mechanically, just may need some time to be able to run on it. The PT and doctors agree I had a speedy and full recovery, the knee really does feel better, just not the day after PT. My birthday was a lot of fun, lots of funny cards, nice decorations, cakes, and a HUGE turnout between both days. I felt very loved. Have a great week all.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/05/2017, enjoy. If you celebrate it, its Cinco de Mayo, enjoy (sorry arvain). There was action on all but the Hard boards this week, yea. Over on Easy, we have voidedalive2x with (2,851) points, working towards top 10 on the O211. For Medium, it was DrSham again, with more BH action, earning 696,328 points, and a few new 1sts, nice work. Finally, over on Expert, we had 2,257 points from AnarchyInTheCA a bit early for his monthly update and PinkiePie91 with (5,164) points. Pretty quiet week all around, I will give the nod to the surprise winner of Grand-Master, whom finished what I thought was impossible with a OMBFSFC of RB, I know its on the blue side and this leaderboard is for the red, but you gotta give credit where it is due. Okay week, lets hope for more action next week.

As for me, work, RAIN, Diablo3. So work has been a lot of hurry up and wait, we got the testing ready, then pretty much wait for calls when stuff doesn't work, otherwise nice and quiet. Diablo3, I am continuing the grind of legendary gems to 70, I have 15 more 69 rifts to run by my calculations, or about 2 hours worth, and that would put me at guardian + trying out all the gear specs I want for the season + 70 gems at only 4 of 10 weeks in. I guess after that, I will push the Shadow spec (surprisingly powerful and fun) to see what GR I can get, then stockpile GR tokens and run bounties. I mean I could augment the Shadow set and then level more gems, but I am kinda burned out, and will be at 800 para after 4 weeks, something I thought would not have been possible just two seasons ago.
Rain wise, we had near record rainfall in two seperate 48 hour totals. We had record flooding on one of the larger rivers, the Meramec, which would be considered a major river if it weren't for the fact that the largest merger of two rivers in the world (Missouri meets the Mississippi here) weren't also in the area. As such, I had minor seepage into my basement, and I pulled out 5 and 7 seven gallons of water with the shopvac respectively Sunday and yesterday. We only get water in the basement when the water table gets excessively high, but record rain will do that. Over the weekend we got 7.5 inches over two days, and Wed + Th we got nearly another 5 inches. Consider we get 36 inches a YEAR here and you get the idea. Monsoon indeed. Needless to say, I will be happy with dry weather all next week. Other than that, not much to say, have a great week all.

Oh my, I actually got a rank up on the O211 board o.O Think after I enter in this... another choke on H18, that'll be the last points on that board until a new FC happens. Never thought I'd see another rank up on Expert for myself.

Oh wow, and that made me top 50 for all games on X Guitar on the GH side to O.O

Lol it's ok bushidox, I'm not into war-induced pride or shame at this very moment I'm more into food.

Good luck with scooping out your basement ._. the weather is so much milder over here. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about floods, fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes or snowstorms.

Also, remember the days when getting a drums fsfc was not even close to being done ? And now, one person is fcing everything... wow. Anyone else suddenly feeling inadequate ?

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/11/2017, enjoy. There was only action on the Expert boards this week. We had PinkiePie91 add a very respectable (15,196) points on the O211 boards, which got him closer to Jleggy12 there, but he is still short 100k from the top 10 on the O211, a very hard feat to achieve indeed. He did pad his already impressive lead on the Grand Total Board though, so good for him. Lets hope for more, or realistically any action next week.

As for me, work, Diablo3, exercise. Work has been almost a lot of just hurry up and wait, making sure testing is going well, then staying out of the way. Diablo3, I finished grinding the legendary gems all to 70. Then I ran a GR83 with the Shadow Impale set with zero augments, beating my end of season record from last season which had 200 more para and full augments and ancients. Now, I have augmented the 5 pieces that are better than my NS gear pieces, and get to level up those 5 legendary gems again. That is another 1.5 hours of regular rift grinding for tokens, then likely 8 hours total of GR grinding, so like 10 hours left. After that, if I have a piece worth augmenting I begin again, otherwise its retest to see if I can make the leaderboard (90 this season compared to 82 last), and stockpiling GR tokens and bounty mats. I helped the wife and my good personal friend both finish chapter 4, the only ones they cared about so I feel good about that. I am back to exercising, this will be the second time this week, first time I have done twice since the surgery. Hopefully, that goes well and I can start ramping things up and actually losing weight. Have a good week all.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/18/2017, data is from yesterday, enjoy. There was lots of action this week, with changes to every board but Easy, very awesome. Over on Medium, we had DrSham gain 2,130,066 more points on BH, he must be close to his goals on that game by now, great work. For Hard, we had LlamaYip make a surprising return and gain 961,970 points, moving up three spots for his efforts. Finally, over on Expert, it was JohnnyGrey with 12,253 points, and PinkiePie91 with 30,861 (336) points, Pinkie is fast closing that gap between himself and alex/Jleggy, about 100k to go. I will give the nod of the week to LlamaYip for coming out of retirement to play a bit of the plastar, welcome back, even if only temporarily. Great week all around, people must be finishing their semesters and have more/some time.

As for me, work, Diablo3, exercise, pool. Work has been pretty quiet, testing is wrapping up, and after that we get to start for the real work of summer. Diablo3, I managed to actually get some usable primal ancient items, so once I finally managed to get all the gems back up to 70, I augmented 5 new items and am grinding those 5 gems back up from 0. This has the side effect of getting me up to 840 paragon, with a full 4 weeks left to play minimum, maybe 1000 paragon isn't out of the realm of reality. Plus, I have yet to really push GR with the Shadow build since the augments, maybe I can get a 90. Exercise seems to be going well, with no real pain in the knee, but tenderness after a good workout, I think that is a good sign. I will try to ramp it up more next week, now that I have the pool out of the way.

Now for arvain's favorite part, pool saga. So, on Saturday, I decided to take the cover off the pool and see what the condition was. Well, due to the enormous amount of rain we had, the level was a lot lower, but it was nice and clean, with just a few leaves in it. Also, I got the cover drained and off with almost no contamination in the pool, only the second time ever I managed that. Cleaned off the deck, cleaned the tarp, dried and put away the tarp and added a ton of water to the pool.

Went out and checked it the next day, and the water level was lower. Found out that the pool wall around the skimmer was leaking, a LOT. Like streams of water shooting out of it a lot. Also, hoses and such had small leaks. Great. Did some research and found out that it was probably a leak on the pool side of the skimmer. Removed the faceplate to the pool side, and the gaskets had totally dry rotted, to the point that they crumbled into dust at the touch. Also found out that the idiot that first installed the pool had made the opening too big for the skimmer, hence why it leaked into the pool wall. Got a patch repair kit for the vinyl, and new gaskets. Installed all that and added water. Now the pool wall leaks only a tiny bit at the skimmer, and I wonder if I still need to tighten things a bit.

Checked for other leaks and found out the pump was leaking at the basket. Discovered that the patch job we had done not only didn't work, but that it was broken all the way around. Had to buy a new basket, again (3 years ago I replaced it) and install that. Tightened various clamps and hoses and most of the other leaks have stopped. I think I will probably replace the 4 foot hose between the filter and the intake as its leaking on both ends, even if they are small. At the bottom of the pump that hose is also leaking. So, I will try tightening a few connections, and see if making the skimmer pull some with the pump will cause that to stop leaking.

All these minor leaks, including the pool wall by the skimmer, only occur when the pump is running, about 2 to 4 hours a day typically, and I don't see any leaks at all when its not leaking. That's potentially good news, and if I can slow the leaks down to slow drips I will likely call that good enough. I mean you probably lose 5 to 10 gallons of water a day just from evaporation, so a leak of less than a gallon a day is minor indeed. Over two days of running the pump the level has gone down less than an inch. Other than that, I just need to finish balancing chemicals, and vacuum again on the pool to use it. Costs for repair: $20 for the gasket kit, $8 for the patch kit, $40 for the new basket assembly, all in all not terrible. Fun times, have a great day all.

If you hadn't added the cost of these things, I would have asked. Indirectly. By typing something like :
- Hey homeless guy, you look like bushidox
- It IS me !
- Dude what happened, why are you living under a bridge?
- Lost all my money
- Identity theft ? Crushing medical bills?
- Pool problems, every day.
