Well, this thread has stagnated as of recently. But my SC2 play has been getting a little better and I have been winning 4v4s (lol) on a semi-decent basis. Also, did anyone see the new GSL maps recently? AWESOME SHIT RIGHT THERE! |

GSL this season has been awesome.
*spoilers from this point on*
Huk doing well? Jinro doing well? Idra not participating? Nestea, MVP, Marineking, and Fruitdealer all gone before ro16? Some crazy stuff is going down, and i'm excited as hell for it. Jinro plays again tonight lets hope for the best.
Also NASL get pumped! _________________

Idra losing round 1 of TSL made me chuckle pretty hard, but then again, so did almost all of the korean invites...I wonder if they just weren't taking it seriously, or if there was some hardcore lag goin on? Certainly someone like Goody shouldn't be able to beat Nestea in a bo3. Then again, Koreans are so used to certain playstyles, maybe Goody's mech play totally threw him off... I dunno.
Edit: ....Watch the Korea vs the World matches, they're on gomtv.net, and they're free to watch. Just....just watch them. _________________

So my early to mid 2000's computer stopped turning on, so I finally had to go out and get a new one. I bought SC2 along with it 'cause I've been dieing to play it since forever lol. I've only done campaign so far and I only just finished maybe my tenth mission, but I'm effin' lovin' it.
Anywho, I've never been a really competitive (read: good) player; my passion has always been the map editor. I knew StarEdit inside and out. If it was possible, I could program it. Now, I know I'll never be quite so adept at the new editor because it's ridiculous sophistication, but I wanna make some sick (mostly zombie themed) maps. My question: how should I go across learning the program? Are there any good sites that have beginner to expert lessons? Should I just start experimenting? Should I study the campaign maps (after I finish it, of course)? Are there any other StarEdit affitionados (sp?) around here? _________________

I couldn't get into Starcraft 2, I loved the first one but for some reason this one just felt lacking to me. |

What a useful, discussion provoking post!.

The stream was a little bumpy but I think the event went really well for its first day. I don't want to spoil anything for you guys that haven't watched it yet but if you can watch the second game between TLO and ViBE, do it... I'm afraid to play zerg on the ladder right now... |
I did, I'm sure stream issues will be solved. I actually paid for the HD whatever and I actually didn't notice any problems... probably because so many more people were tuning into the low quality one. Also, QXC v Moman was incredible. If you also paid, I encourage you to go back and watch the vods if you didn't catch it live. :p _________________
