They still have them available as part of the game+watch bundle but are temporarily out of stock. I sent them an e-mail a few minutes ago asking if they had any plans to sell any more individually or internationally so all I can do is wait for their reply. I'll post whatever comes of that (think lucky) _________________

Well ,I got a reply (a fast one at that too, wow)
Hi Michael,
Unfortunately we only ship the watch in the continental United States.
We will be receiving more copies of 999 to sell in mid-January, after which, we'll continue to sell the 999 + watch bundle again.
You'll either need a friend in the US that it could be sent to and have them ship it out to you, or you'll have to resort to an auction service if you'd like the watch.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

I beat it about a month ago I think.
It really is a fantastic game, I'd recommend it to anyone with a DS. _________________

Got the Sub ending first and the Safe/Letter ending second.
So, I have Axe, Knife, Coffin and True left, right? I think I'm gonna go for Axe first, then Knife, then Coffin/True.
This is an awesome fucking game - I got kinda bored towards the end of my first playthrough and was kinda bored through the second, and I kinda don't want to play through over and over, but I *need* all these questions answered. And I don't wanna cheat by looking up spoilers. D: _________________

I would definitely recommend getting all other endings before attempting to get true ending, for reasons that would become obvious after seeing the true ending :P
Axe ending is beautifully brutal.
Waiting on the restock of their store for my watch, they said it'd be around January 10th if you're interested in getting a bundle then perhaps eBaying the second copy of the game and keeping the watch. _________________

In this case, I'd think you'd have to resort to importing or something. =/
Also, Qarx, loved that review you linked. :D
[Edit] Got the Axe ending... oh God... oh holy shit...
[Edit2] Got the Knife ending. Going for True sometime tonight. :D _________________

That was my reaction too, but after about 3 hours sat thinking about it, it made sense to me... well mostly.
Anyways, for anyone interested in picking this excellent game up, the store's restocked with the game + watch bundle for $36.99 - http://www.aksysgames.com/store/
Just ordered mine through a friend :D _________________

Sweet deals. Thanks very much, although... damn, why did it have to be this week that I don't have any leftover spending money. ;_;
Maybe for my birthday... ohwaitno I'm getting Pokemon Black or White.
Maybe for... I don't know, but I'll get one of these eventually. _________________

Thread bump.
Finally got this game (because I now have time to play it). I've just entered my second numbered door and am going to pick up from there next time I play... but man, I started playing at around noon and what the hell it's 4 o'clock? This game is awesome.
Have no clue what ending I'm heading towards at the moment and I don't plan on using a strategy guide to get endings until I've cleared at least 2-3 of them.
EDIT: Don't care that nobody's reading this, I feel like I'm more important than you so here's some progress:
3 endings so far. Sub, Knife, Axe. Great.
Sub ending: oh crap.
Knife ending: eh saw it coming
Axe ending: D: WHAT?! FFFFFFF
Let's hope the other ones aren't as bad. This game is addicting. I NEED MY ANSWERS.
Also, I apparently have to get the sub ending again if I want to play all the puzzles (which I do). Because, dammit door #3. You are the root of all evil. _________________

Major necro here! But I think fans of this game will be happy to know about 999's sequel, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. I know I had no idea this game even existed until my husband bought it for me from work.
So far the new game is very similar, but I already have a hundred questions about the story. It's turning out to be just as intense and exciting as the first game. Puzzles have 2 levels of difficulty which is a nice addition. I've only beaten 2 rooms so far, but both rooms I couldn't figure out the bonus or "Hard" difficulty part of it because I'm a dumbass.
A friend who has already beaten it says it's absolutely insane. There are 27 endings.
The new game has a lot of the same music and sound effects but has added 3D environments and characters. The best addition I think has been voice acting. Some of the Japanese translations seem a little odd, but the creepy factor is increased dramatically with voiced characters, especially "Zero III."
I can't wait to see just how much this game blows my mind. 999 is one of the best games I played in 2010, I only hope this one is even half as good. Here is IGN's Review. They gave it a 9.5 and say that the new game is even better, so that's promising.
Careful though, you may lose sleep _________________
