Obama is responsible (along with Bush) for more deaths than Osama is. |

I can have an opinion, and it happens to be anti-war.
In Obama's campaign didn't he say he was taking the US out of the middle east? |

Don't feed the troll. Just report the post and move on. |
I'm not trolling, just expressing how I see the facts.
I responded as to why I feel that way above, I'll stop posting just so we don't argue over this, I just feel that this isn't as amazing as every one says it is. As of right now it is, but there could be repercussions. |

You may be right about Bush, but Obama hasn't been in office long enough to rack up a kill-count as high as bin Laden's. |

There is a good chance this will end up locked, but I prefer giving it a chance instead of outright censoring it. No flaming, please. _________________

Why is this thread allowed if the OP has no discussion question or anything whatsoever?
I mean, you said in the other thread Foreign Policy, so why not have someone create that with discussion value instead of just stating one sentence? _________________

Osama has intentionally killed thousands of people around the globe. His intentions were harmful.
Obama's and Bush's war campaigns have cost thousands of lives as well, but we didn't go to war just to intentionally kill our people. Their intentions were good.
What Osama did was a threat to our safety and national security. His death SHOULD be significant to the world. _________________

You, dead. You, dead, all of you."

The OP here is short and has no preamble because (as you well know) it comes from another thread. It constituted a tangent that could disrupt the original topic so I split it out so that people who want to discuss one of the topics but not the other can go to the topic that interests them.
While this topic may just end up being locked, I prefer giving it a chance to work and not censoring the OP outright.
P.S. I'd note that TECHNICALLY a thread here is not required to have a "discussion question". It's more opinion that it has a topic and a point of view. I would say the OP and its follow-up constitutes one. _________________

To say nothing of US foreign policy or war in general: it'd be nice for us to have someone like Obama in charge of the place, someone who inspires some sort of positive feeling, rather than David fucking Cameron who only inspires me to wish I lived somewhere else.
I dunno, from an outsider's perspective Obama seems to be spend most of his time making rousing speeches or demonstrating his sense of humour, whereas our leader's time is mostly spent pandering to his rich friends and making life miserable for the working classes. _________________

Obama, from the 2008 presidential debates: "If we have Osama bin Laden in our sights and the Pakistani government is unable or unwilling to take them out, then I think that we have to act, and we will take them out. We will kill bin Laden. We will crush al Qaeda. That has to be our biggest national security priority."
Putting aside the whole "do you actually agree with the action or not?" question - I will spare you my thoughts - it's pretty evident that (a) killing Osama bin Laden was a priority and (b) the above is almost exactly how things ultimately played out. (I am receptive to sourced links that suggest otherwise.)

That's somewhat petulant and wholly unnecessary. Make cogent arguments. Atomize those who oppose you with awe-inspiring posts of unquestionable, spellbinding logic. Let's pretend we're all adults here; impress us. _________________
