The Summer League - League threads starting soon!

I'll participate in the full series league, but I'm not exactly a reliable thread leader, so I'll stick to following lol. 4 songs a week seems to be a pretty round number to me, and it can either be continuous or have playoffs, idc either way. The problem w/ continuous leagues are though, that people tend to die out participationwise (see GH2 rivalry) and the thread just kinda falls. But it also allows people to join and leave at any time, so its all up to you guys.

Hard, new games preferably. (Maybe a new school league with WT-WoR? Just 5, BH, WoR? Something like that) I won't start a thread but I would follow and post week to week... maybe. (I tend to forget about these things lol). Put me down as a yes.

Alright, well I'm gonna be running the GH3X division, and I'm going to be playing in it as well. I really think this can be a lot of fun, and if you are threatened by some of the people who signed up, don't be! Leagues are always a lot of fun, and can help improve your scores a TON, even if you don't win it all your first time.

I also think I wanna do the GHWTH league. I have the game, but I just have never had the inspiration to play it. Like, I haven't even unlocked hyperspeed on it, or all the songs or anything. I doubt I've even played half the songs on the game. But, hopefully, this will give me some motivation to play it. If I like it on hard, I'll probably like it on Expert right?

So yeah: I'm gonna sign up for both the GH3X division and the GHWTH division.

Full Series League will be every on-disk game excluding BH. Song selection will be completely random, based on my own spreadsheet of scores. (I'll use random.org from numbers 1-660, number 1 will TTFaF GH3, as I have the most points remaining on that, and 660 will be Song 2 on GH5, as I have optimal on that.)

I will compete in the Full Series League, GHWTH (which I have a feeling will be very popular) and GHWoRX.

I will be participating in WoR expert as well as running it. I'm certainly looking forward to the competition, and I STILL need to improve my scores on that game. (aka pass you, Jleggy)

Quick question: Are we going to be dividing the songs each week by difficulty? As in, split the setlist in four, based on the FC breakdown, and choose one song from each group? I think that's one aspect of regular leagues that shouldn't change.

I'm excited, I hope this gets a good turnout.

I'll give the GHWTH league a shot too, since my uncle will lend me his PS3 with all his games during my winter vacation (yes it's winter in my country...), and he has GH World Tour.

i'll be participating in/running the GH:WT Hard league. i'll also be participating in the WoRH league.

as for song selection, i'll also break up the songs into 4 tiers and then choose 1 from each randomly each week.

side note: i didn't choose gh3h because like i told Jleggy, the game has been squeezed enough and i am kinda sick of it at this point
