I finished up GH5 X Bass today. I still have GHM, VH and WoR left to go through, but I think I'm on pretty good track to definitely get top 10, maybe even 7th or so.
I don't plan on going too crazy, mostly just getting all FCs with paths, and doing okay on the hard songs. Maybe if top 5 becomes achievable, then I'll do some heavy reduxing/grinding.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 10/28/2016, data was pulled yesterday, enjoy. There was action only on Hard and Expert bass this week, kinda quiet, but its something. Over on Hard, we had FranArg gain 1,663 points, hooray someone new. For Expert, it was greenbaymackey with 1,028,880 points all from the handhelds, its a long slow grind, but at least he can feel progress as it increases his already solid lead over Jleggy12. Decent work from you two, lets give the nod of the week to FranArg just to call out someone new.

As for me, more of the same, work, Diablo3, pool, nephew. Yes, the pool is actually still open, as the coldest night we have had was 39 degrees, and its actually supposed to be in the 80s today and tomorrow. I have worked very hard to try to get rid of the green from 2 weeks ago, but I think I am just going to have to give up and hope for the best over the winter. The chemicals are balanced, I have vacuumed it 8 times, and it should be clean, just has a green tint again . The work PD went well, otherwise it has been pretty quiet, tis that time of year. Diablo3, Season 8 started a week ago, and I am through Chapter 4, and just hit 100 paragon last night. I still need some key pieces of gear to really get moving for the season, its just a matter of them dropping for me.

Nephew is doing well, he is frustrated with his progress with is a fantastic sign that he really is doing well. He walked for the first time this week with no walker or anyone holding onto him, but has issues with turns still. He still has a hard time with multisyllable words, and doesn't talk much but talks fine. He still has tremors, much more pronounced on the left side, but insists on feeding himself. He was able to write his name this week, and is gaining fine motor control, but it is slow going. We got to take him out for his first solid food to a nearby Mexican restaraunt and he loved the chips and salsa. Short term memory seems to be an issue still, but otherwise he is vastly improved. Hopefully, he gets to go home in about 3 weeks, we shall see. Have a great week everyone.

So it looks like when it comes to the DS games these leaderboards only draw scores from the songs that are shared across all versions of the game?

For example the North American version of Modern Hits has 28 songs total, but only 16 of them are also in the European and UK versions. These leaderboards only pick up scores from those 16 shared songs. Is this intentional or has nobody noticed it because nobody plays the DS games?

It's intentional. The idea of these leaderboards is to mimic scorehero and that means 16 songs, there is no 28 song North American leaderboard (or UK/European either). I guess it wasn't deemed fair to include songs that not everyone could purchase, and we decided to follow the same logic.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 11/02/2016, enjoy. We had action on all but Medium this week, a great week indeed. Over on Easy, we had the tireless UltraHeroABC5, whom decided to play some bass again, to the tune of 4,957 points, nudging him closer to Undead's total. For Hard, it was 550,065 points from sjay, whom celebrated his top 10 status, although he has a huge gap to get up to the FSFC folks. Finally, for Expert, we had greenbaymackey continue his handheld play, gaining 93,275 points, further lowering the gap between him and the community total. Nice work from all around this week, I will give the nod of the week to greenbaymackey for having the patience to play handhelds on bass.

As for me, work, Diablo3, pool, nephew. Work has been pretty busy, if rather mundane. I get to do more network stuff this week and install access points for wifi, so that should be interesting. Diablo3, I am still chugging away trying to get the stash tab before FFXV hits. I cleared a GR45 last night, and can farm Torment 8 fairly well, so its hopefully just a matter of time before I get the remaining drops I need to progress further. The pool was closed this past Sunday, the latest I have ever had my pool open in a calendar year. I was in it on Saturday, as the air temperature was a ridiculous 84 degrees, and the pool 66. I just have to get the hoses unhooked and store the filter and pump inside for the winter now, sorry arvain the pool piece is retired until after my birthday.

The nephew has greatly slowed his progress, but at least its all still in the right direction. His memory seems a bit better, although the short term still lacks at times. He has a larger vocabulary again, but often uses simple words to avoid multisyllable ones. He has gotten to walking a bit more, and traveled 8 steps without holding onto anything recently. His tremor is still there, especially the left side, but he is gaining control every day. His sense of humor is back, and he is reading and even writing a bit now. He is looking forward to his hospital release, likely on the 10th. He will require a LOT of home care still, but my sister can be a stay at home mom which will help greatly. All in all, its a remarkable recovery for such an accident, and he is still improving. Have a great week all.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 11/09/2016, the data was pulled yesterday afternoon so the OP reflects that. The only board that changed was Hard bass this week. We had sjay, whom got 10,256 points, and singlehandedly made the update worthwhile. Great job sir, that is still a lot more points you can gain to overtake VeryMetalChewie, so at least you have something to shoot for.

As for me, Diablo3, work, nephew. Diablo3 is going well, I hit Paragon 435 last night, have all the sets complete, and finally have all the pieces I want for my build. Its now just a matter of grinding out rifts, Greater Rifts and legendary gem levels which should take a couple of weeks. After that, its just a matter of completing a second conquest (likely the 20 min boss mode) and get a group to help me get a speed T13 rift in then I should have my stash tab. Plenty of time to finish before my goal of FFXV launch. Work has been pretty quiet, its that time of year where things either work or they don't, and the network guy I have been helping will soon go on paternity leave. Finally, the nephew has had little change, but gets out tomorrow from the hospital and gets to recover at home. He can kinda walk on his own now for short distances, his speech is a bit better, he crawls and clambers over everything, has a healthy appetite, but still has some memory and tremor issues. All in all, we are VERY excited that his recovery has gone so well, it remains to be seen if he has any further improvements.

In other news, I have a friend whom has a code for Rock Band Rivals, so I may be trying that out soon once I reach my Diablo3 seasonal goals. Rivals looks.. interesting, I will give a full review after I try it out. Have a good week all.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 11/15/2016, enjoy. We had movement on every board this week, always an exciting time. For Easy bass, it was sjay, with a massive gain of 6,142,813 points all in the Grand Total column, very nice work there. Over to Medium, where we had sjay again, with a much more modest gain of 19,328 points. On Hard, it was sjay, of course, with 2,158,169 points, a solid week of work. Finally, for Expert, we had sjay, with 617,133 points and another 700k on the Grand Total, very nice stuff. This week was all about sjay, and, he becomes the 1st place player overall for bass on the site, and is fast closing in on 1 billion unique bass points, a very big congrats to him. Perhaps sjay can inspire more people to play bass next week.

As for me, Diablo3, nephew, work. Diablo3 news, I soloed a GR70, completed the chapter 8 goals for the stash tab, helped the wife do all the difficult things for her seasonal, and finished all the set dungeons. This means I have met my goal for the season, but will probably see just how hard guardian, the last chapter, really is this season. What I have left to do: about 8 more GR 69s to get 3 gems to 70, try for a GR 75 and the 3rd conquest, and see how insane the 45 seconds to kill Belial is on T13. In addition to that, I will likely level some more gems for augments, and try out all the other builds. Finishing the set dungeons for wizard means that I have officially finished all 24, and as a result have the shiny wings that come with them. All in all, I am very happy with my seasonal progress, and hit paragon 604 last night.

My nephew went home as planned last Thursday, and there was much celebrating. All reports are he is continuing his recovery at home, with triweekly visits to the nearest hospital for therapy. Work has been pretty quiet, my boss and the network guy are both on paternity leave. In addition, my macbook, where I run these boards from, seems to be having real issues, at least on the mac partition, the windows one seems fine. I just finished backing up my files, so I will likely flatten the mac partition and reimage it, hopefully, clearing up the issue. Other than that, not much to report, have a great week everyone.

I made it to the Expert Bass boards. I'm at 74.6 million right now, with a few songs left on GHVH and all of GHM to go through

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 11/22/2016, enjoy. There was action this week on every board, with the exception of Easy Bass, cool times. For Medium, we had 4,800 points from sjay, keep on trucking buddy. Over on Hard, it was sjay again, this time with 297,944 points, getting closer to VMC. Finally, on Expert, we had greenbaymackey with 22,785 points on the handhelds, and JohnnyGrey jump way up on the board with 8,926,659 points. I will give the nod of the week to JohnnyGrey just to mix things up, nice to see a different face for a change. Lets hope more people play bass next week.

As for me, wedding, work, Diablo3. This past weekend was my lone female cousin's wedding, and it was very nice. My nephew even was dancing all by himself, which was a great sight to see, well as well as any 6 year old can dance. Work was nice and short this week, just two days, as we have the Thanksgiving holiday here in the states. Diablo3, I managed to finish Guardian on Monday, and the only thing left is to try to get a final Menagerist Goblin and my last pet, and to grind paragon/gems. Have a great week all, and if you celebrate Thanksgiving, have a safe one.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 12/01/2016, enjoy. Happy December everyone, we had action on all but Medium Bass this week. For Easy, it was sjay, with 366,842 points, creeping close to the top 10. Over on Hard, we had 702,942 points from sjay, getting pretty close to a score for every song on Hard bass now. Finally, for Expert, we had JohnnyGrey continue his assault with 3,484,116 points, moving swiftly up the board. Decent week, I will give the nod to sjay again for his continued measured pace, he is getting close to his goals for a score for every song.

As for me, work, Diablo3, and FFXV. Work has been pretty quiet, but consistent, getting lots of little things done here and there, but otherwise nothing exciting. Had a lot of family visiting time over Thanksgiving, which is cool, as I actually like my family. Diablo3, I finally got a Wand of Woh and was able to test out the last build I wanted to, helped the wife get gear to get her started and some gems leveled, and finished at 675 paragon. Season 8 does not end likely until just after the new year, but I wanted to be at a stopping point to enjoy my new game. FFXV is a blast to play, and is everything that I hoped for in a Final Fantasy game since 12 showed us what the series could do. If you are a fan of the series you will find a lot to love, and if you are new to it, it is definitely worth playing if you like RPGs at all. There are countless reviews of it out there, so I will conclude simply with that it meets my expectations and hopes for the game so far. Have a great week everyone.

Leaderboards are up to date for today, 12/06/2016, enjoy. There was action on the Easy and Expert bass boards this week, kinda a bookend. For Easy, we had sjay, whom entered 2,339,963 points and closed out yet another FSFC. On Expert, it was JohnnyGrey, with a massive jump of 5,592,553 points, and, like sjay, has be getting close to running out of songs. Great work from both of you, I will give the nod to sjay, a FSFC is a big deal whenever it happens, congrats! Lets hope for more action next week.

As for me, finally no longer sick, work, Final Fantasy XV. I was sick off and on since the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and man finally feeling better this past Sunday was a huge relief. Work has been almost too quiet as of late, I will have to just do a walk around the buildings tomorrow and see if there are just things no one has reported to me. Final Fantasy is still very captivating, but I cannot help feeling like its just a reskinned version of Skyrim. You have an overworld map, icons on the map, dungeons, fights you can choose to engage in or avoid, fast travel, on back travel, you are collecting powers (similar to daedric items), and you have random encounters from the air (similar to dragons). I mean the plot is different, the characters are different, and its VERY pretty, but it does feel way too dejavu at times. Still, I am enjoying it immensely, I still recommend it to fans of the genre. Have a great week all.
