I'm using the standard Powerstroke (I think) that came with the Silverstar and a Kickport. I don't really like the sound of the bass drum though. It's the only thing I constantly try to change whenever I'm mixing a new cover. I'm thinking I need to get a new head (Aquarian Superkick II), but I still have loads to learn about mixing, and this is easily the most frustrating thing I've done so far

It does sound very dull and muffled, but personally I rather like that for the fast double bass sections.

Well the only issue I see with that is that it's inaudible on speakers that don't have good bass.

I have to agree, I'd love to see you play something that takes some extra finesse and stick control. IE some Porcupine Tree, Way Out of Here would be a good one I think. I'd love to see you do Anesthetize but I'm not about to ask you to learn a 17 minute song where the first 11 minutes are non-stop difficulty.

Yeah I can definitely play more complex stuff haha. I have some Protest the Hero that I can do as soon as I move my drum set back in my room again and I actually do know some Porcupine Tree. I have loads of stuff I can put up. Most of my covers are just spur of the moment things that I know I can pull off in a timely manner. Rush is planned too, since I know a ton of their stuff.
