I played GH2 and managed to get two FC's I'm quite proud of. Firstly, I grinded (ground?) persistently for a Woman FC over the past few days and just today FC'd it.

Miraculously, afterward I achieved an FC of Mother without so much as an overstrum.

I literally just got these right after each other. I mean, after I got Woman I just FC'd like that, even though according to the breakdown Mother is harder than Woman. Speaking of the breakdown, Mother is currently my hardest FC of the Guitar-only games (right below Freya, another song I've been trying to FC), though LiaE (DLC) is still a contender for my best FC. Did I just happen to channel my inner Peachfanclub (who, as you probably know, just FC'd BatM) or am I actually getting better at this game? Film at eleven.

Ah yes, Mother's rather low tiering in the Career modes of both versions of this game always did baffle me a bit. Nice work.

On a side note...Pandora's GH2 design = <3

Good job on both Woman and Mother! I think I could FC Mother at some point on GH2 if I'm lucky, but Woman's solo is tough.

Nice. I remember thinking that Mother was a pretty difficult FC, rather underrated IMO. Anyway, keep chugging on the old school games, even if you hate them like I do. The stricter engines really get your accuracy dialed in, and it helps a lot.

Can you make a quick table or something at the beginning of your thread that shows what you have FCed or have left to FC in each game? With the FCs you've gotten recently I think you are right in the midst of a significant skill jump and it would make it easier to track your progress.

OMGOMGOMGOMG. Seriously, I am so happy to finally get this. This means I can finally continue my quest to FGFC GH1 on Hard. There were SO many tricky parts like the chorus riff and the DUHdada DAAAHdada riff and shouldn't have tripped me up but did but now I don't have to worry about them.

Hey PFC, I'd hate a be a Backsy Bob but I may not be able to complete the GH1 FGFC in time because of stupid Texas Flood and I can't do the other songs because of my OCD when it comes to FGFCs (I have to get the hardest songs first.)

You can always use my video of Texas Flood and try to remember the timing of my strums and such. I have records of the four hardest songs on GH1H (like BatM) as well as Cowboys From Hell, and I feel like it could be a big help.

I still need to get Bark at the Moon on GH1 at some point. I think I've tech FC'd everything on that game apart, although I'm not sure on Fly On the Wall's outro (hard mode, by the way lol).

Good luck on Texas Flood! Difficult song... watching void's video may help though as he said.

I played GH2 today and managed to snag two awesome FCs.

First is everyone's favorite hand cramp machine Freya. I had previously obtained a run where I hit up to the outro. I tried it again today and, after some screwups and one embarrassing choke on the outro chords, I got the FC.

Next is PP(LL). I got this just after my Freya FC. I never choked on the solos, all of my chokes were in the intro riff. Awesome song, BTW.

Currently, I'm trying for Them Bones. Still haven't gotten that ending down yet. I'm also going for some FCs on GHWT. Maybe I'll get Stillborn or ELL VEE UHH.
