O211 Squeezing - 1st place untied GH80s medium

GH1- I figured a way to reduce the lag from getting Star Power in Guitar Hero 1. First hit the note really early and while hitting the note quickly hit the start button. When you un-pause immediately activate SP. There should be hardly any lag...

A really good example is Thunder Kiss 65 and I recorded the reverse squeeze.

I used slo-mo not only in the reverse squeeze but the first squeeze which is absolutely insane. I don't think it's possible...

7/22/12-FC'd Thunder Kiss 65 randomly! My 31st gh1 fc. I missed an easy 400 2nd last activation (didnt want to miss), 350 from the lost ticks on the reverse squeeze, and 400 from trying to hit the 2nd upperbound squeeze.. missed it by one frame... after I missed the squeeze I wanted to see if I could FC it and I did lol.

9/6/12- Hit the 60/60 squeeze in Fly On the Wall. Pretty insane. The whammy was the hardest part. It needs quite a lot. My front and back ends were good too.

9/21/12- (FOUND and UPLOADED 3/19/12) There is an extra 200 in Spanish Castle Magic from GH1 in measure 39. Optimal isn't 288 it is 488...unless the upperbound whammy/path is obtainable, which i highly doubt. I already told Kram about it.

9/21/12- HOLY SHIT. I have gotten an extra 400 on Guitar Hero! (the song). It's a 95%/95% squeeze. Crazy!! First act move back one note and squeeze the YO. Be sure to mention me when people hit 304300 or 304700. I have hit the fast doubles too, but only once.

10/12/12- Found/hit an extra 200 in Crossroads. First act same as usual but actually squeeze it. It's not too hard, needs about 80-90% perfect whammy and a good front/back end though. I think Kram hit this first but I'm the first to document via video.

12/21/12- Hit the Upperbound doubles in Six. First person to do so. Very difficult, much harder than "Trippin"s first UB double. I included slow-mo.

GH3:12/31/12 Found an odd glitch where it doesnt give you ANY SP when you hit all the notes within the phrase. I used 200 MS of video calibration. Also more weird stuff happen when you set the calibration at 200 MS. Just watch.

In GH1 I hit the UB squeeze in Thunder Kiss 65 (Not the doubles the doubles are glitched and impossible). Even though its one whammy it's still pretty hard. You probably need 95% whammy and 100/100 front and back end.

1/17/13- CHOKED A FUCKING 231167 RUN OF WRATHCHILD WTF IM SO PISSED. I accidently hit fucking pause because I was so nervous on the last act. I threw my guitar out the window and I have to fix the frets. This is by far my biggest squeezing choke. I was recording too but I was so pissed I deleted it. THE LAST ACTIVATION ISNT EVEN HARD AND I WASNT GOING FOR THE FUCKING UB squeeze. Goddammit im pissed. It took me 4 hours of grinding to hit all the 3 squeezes in a single run and had to fucking miss. I'm going to be working on 167 this weekend.

1/19/13- Finally it is done. After 6 hours of grinding I got 231,167 on Wrathchild!!

GH3- 1/8 note doubles under 135 BPM are hittable. I got a video of me hitting 133.5 BPM 1/8 note doubles. I can't get much lower though.

10/1/13 - Hit Collide UB squeeze. Really fucking nuts. I ended up missing every squeeze proceeding that. Decided I should go for it on Medium because you can't choke after that, although will be more difficult.

11/16 IM GOING FOR BIM FINALLY. Today wasn't successful however I got a troll 100% overstrum with 2 reverse chokes in solo a and 15 misses on the last trill (FC past Solo C 15 times). I FC'd the solo total 9 times so HOPEFULLY i get this song.

12/10/13 GH80's Medium 1st Place! One of my best accomplishments. First by nearly 2500!

1/6/14 GH80s Medium 173,892 on Radar Love hit the Nearly Ideal Whammy!!!! Feels so good because it is barely possible on that track speed. Also first 5.1 multiplier.

oh wow, that is really genius! I mean I've gotten the frankenstein reverse squeeze lots of times playing normally, but this pausing thing sounds like it makes it so much easier! XD I'll definitely have to try my hand at TK65 now that you mention this method. I'll agree with Kram and say you are an insanely underrated player, and a fantastic squeezer. One of the best really, especially in the harmonix games. I remember back when you first got TLTB or something, I think you've really come a long way.

If you want the extra ticks from TK65 (and any other song that might feature that trick) you should switch to a dualshock.
With the dualshock you can pause the game without dropping ticks.
Assuming you want to play most of the song with the guitar you can pause the game whenever there's a short break and switch between the two

edit: this is still very new to me but I've found the best way to do this, video coming once I get the activation right
switching back to the sg from the dualshock results in a little fret fuckery
the fret you held when you paused the song on the dualshock will still be held when you unpause it with the sg.
you need to press the fret again after you unpause to unpress the fret again.

I'm coming clean. I've known about this for over a year. I told Scarecrow at some point, but he doesn't give a shit about GH1 so he would never use it.

This is how I got that TK65 squeeze (and why I didn't have a video). And it's really helpful for getting optimal on SCM as well. :P (FiU 1st activation still feels impossible)

And Scarecrow is right. I crunched the numbers and the TK65 reverse is literally impossible without doing this. Sorry for anyone who I made waste time on it.
