I thought I would share some cool things that can be done in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock's Quickplay+'s Power Challenges if you have the game and have upgraded the relevant warriors... in this case to get ready for the final battle against the Beast...

There is a "Power Challenge" mode in Quickplay+ where you get to pick two of the eight powers in this game to greatly enhance the number of stars that you can get in any given song. With all eight upgraded in Quest Mode, here are the pairs of powers I find most useful in the game:

Star Power Nova+ + Star Power Generator+: What I use as my "signature powers" and to get maximum points and stars on a majority of songs. This works best on Expert, with the most notes overall to generate this star power if you can hit a majority of it. And then you have 24x for a majority of the song, and can actually earn 18-21 stars in this mode with how far score goes in this game!

Star Power Nova+ + Star Power Amplifier+: This works best on some songs for maximum score and stars on some songs, with relatively few notes even on Expert. This gets that 24x multiplier still while extending it to the extent of every star phrase you hit during the song!

Speed Freak+ + Streak Guardian+: What I use on harder songs to get 15 stars at least (or 16 or 17 with fast tempos where neither Nova+ with either Generator+ nor Amplifier+ would get the most stars) on a majority of harder songs - and on harder ones where I wouldn't make 15 there. It's relatively easy to get 14 or 15 stars at least with this setup.

And then the final battle with the Beast gets that much more interesting, with the eight powers split between the first two songs in the battle: Holy Wars: The Punishment Due allows four of the eight powers, and This Day We Fight the other four, and if you make it through both of those with at least 12 stars each, Sudden Death (unsure of the minimum there, though I know I've made it with 36 stars) is with all eight powers, just like you would play for 40 stars thereafter with the Demigod free after beating the first two with 12 stars or better each!

I am quite shocked that there has been nothing to date on this forum directly about utilizing these cool WoR powers to get some truly insane star ratings in Guitar Hero!!! And then each star in WoR above 6 is 1 1/6 in the average multiplier, apart from 5 to 6 stars (6 stars purely from score seems to come in at a 4 2/3 x average multiplier, which is moderately above the cutoff for 7 traditional ScoreHero stars in earlier games, while 20 stars is at 21x exactly, and gets 21 if it's also an FC, which awards one more star in this mode [though not in Quest Mode - 40 stars is the maximum you can get there regardless of whether you can FC, which in a way relieves that kind of pressure...])

At any rate, I am curious to know what anyone playing Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock nowadays has accomplished in the game's Quickplay+ Power Challenge mode or in Quest Mode, which utilizes all these cool powers which to me were the most perfect awesome additions to the game...

problem is, once you've beaten the quest once, you dont do it again no more and this feature becomes obsolete. sure it's cool to get massive points, but what else ?

im pretty sure it was talked back then in the official GH:WoR thread but i dont recall where.
