Wow, I'm really struggling to find time to play recently. Still, some stuff happened. Three FCs - two of which happened two months ago right after my last update, one of which happened about half an hour ago.

Summary
I play YYZ for the first time in about a month and FC past the solo for the first time and FC the whole song. I'm inconsistent at the main riff, normally, let alone the whole thing, so yeah, that was a really nice surprise. Bloodlines, I had been trying towards for a while before I nailed it. It was two months ago, but I remember it took a lot of effort. And Lunatic Fringe is just Lunatic Fringe, so whatever.
I've been on this site for over one and a half years now, and I've made quite a bit of progress. I joined up the night after I passed TTFAF, and... okay I'm just going to stop before I break down in tears. Thanks, guys!

Sounds like it has been a good year. I think you can 5* Spanish Fly. The Full Series 5* (on disc at least) should be possible for you. In addition, I think you can get more FCs on GH1-GH80s.

@BlueTornado: Hey, thanks! There are a load of 5*s left, none which are difficult. Then again, my guitar started overstrumming a few hours into playing today so you never know.
@skinnywhitecomic: Thanks! Spanish Fly was the last five-star left which should really be able to prove any sort of problem. The rest is just about being motivated, right?

I have been playing this game, not really posting scores much though. Probably due to most of my time on GH being spent on Guitar Hero Arcade, which... I don't know what console that is, I can't submit scores for that. My most recent experience with that was choking on the last two notes of School's Out (with a crowd watching, painful!) so yeah, not feeling particularly psyched for that. Yes, I have Guitar Hero Live, and... those songs are going to be more difficult to get five stars on. The new controls are challenging to say the least (how do I change chords quickly? how do I read rows of buttons?) but I will be aiming to get those five-star scores as well as the songs in the "GRYBO" part of the series. Anyway, where were we?

Summary
Ha, Dance the Night Away was back in January.
This is the most stuff I've done this year. Sultans of Swing, I've actually been working towards for a while, so getting that was pretty satisfying... Gratitude is just terrible, and Sex on Fire should have been done a long time ago.
Warriors of Rock scores were just there to get stuff filled in on the sheets. Gotta get those FG5*s some time.
2015 REVIEW
It says a lot about how much I play this game that this review is on the same page as the one from last year. But hey, I achieved last year's target, so it's not all bad, right? ...Right?

Summary
That's a grand total of seven FCs! I hit 300k on Jordan on my first attempt in a while, and improved my overall total on GH2 by almost a half million, so that was pretty cool. YRGM was surprisingly easy, I found... so now I have basically no excuse to get a ton more FCs in this game, hah. I guess I've improved quite a lot since first picking up the game back in 2014, huh?
GHL proved to be quite a different challenge. I just need to just have more confidence in actually hitting the notes... also reading the notes... also changing the chords... and probably more in addition. Bangarang is probably the song I'm most consistent at by this point, to be honest, heh.

Summary
It's a small thing, but I'm back, if only for a while, I guess. I haven't been the best at keeping to my word on this kind of thing. But... here it is? My FC in the bag for this year? I've managed at least one new FC every year, so that's something to stay proud of. I've been playing Guitar Hero Arcade semi-regularly when I can find a machine, so hopefully my skills haven't entirely worn off. And yes, the ability to play the TTFAF intro continues to be just like riding a bicycle. I've had school, and exams and such to keep up with, so that might explain a few months of my absence, but it's really about more than that. I'm not entirely certain if it needs to be heard, but, well, the past year and a half of my life has been a bit of a whirlwind. Not gonna go into too much more detail.
And I almost got 3s and 7s for FC #37 on GH3 today too, but I choked on the outro solo because I got too nervous. I'll be able to get it tomorrow, provided I remember to play in the next year and a half. Should be a good summer.

FG5* #7! Glad I spent six hours getting that out of the way. Now I can stick with my good old five-button guitar, like they used to use back in the good old days.
Speaking of which, I got Monsters out of the way! I'd be a lot more excited to get this old song finally finished and done with, because it's a classic from GH3 and it's quite dear to me, but I already have Bat Country. Isn't the solo in Monsters basically just like the one in Bat Country but slower? See you guys around!

Congrats on those new FC's! I almost have Monsters, that's a good one to have. Also yeah Bat Country and Monsters have similiar solos. Hope to see some more good stuff!
Also, what are the games you are missing a FG5* on now?

Okay, so I also played some bass while I still had GH5 in my PS3, and repeated the 1sts I had on WoR for Lemon Frosting and All The Small Things? Couldn't seem to get the same score on ATSM as I did on WoR so maybe the chart's different? But also...
Holy crap, B.Y.O.B.? That's #74 on the FC breakdown for this game? What? Am I punching above my weight here? I'm hesitant to call this my best FC, but this is... up there. Not quite sure how I'm gonna get over apparently being good at this song.
