My wireless Les Paul has started to double strum a decent amount after playing TDWDTG many times (finally can strum it like a champ!). Now I just need to know what the best guitar that you have used is.

I was thinking about getting the Warriors of Rock guitar but that seems to come in 2 different versions and I want to be sure that I get the best one. There is one that looks like the one from World Tour, and then there is the red and black one.

Just wondering which I should get or if I should just get another Les Paul.

Thank you!

EDIT: I will also check around for how to fix the double strum issue but if someone could point me to the right thread that would be very helpful as well.

I've been using a Warriors of Rock guitar after a slew of broken Les Pauls. I honestly now prefer it to other guitars, just be sure to remove the springs from the back button to make activating SP smoother. You're going to have a shock if you're a tilt activator in that you need to get it close to vertical, but it's something you'll get used to.

Which of the two do you own? The black and red one or the one that looks like the GHWT guitar?

Is there a guide here to remove the springs? Is it risky?

The black and red one with the removable "wings" on the body.

The springs are pretty easy to remove, you just have to make sure you put all the components back correctly, which might take a couple of tries, but you're seriously unlikely to break anything.

I own a Les Paul and it works perfectly. As long as you know how to fix it, then you're golden.

Interesting. I never knew that Les Paul controller used white ALPS for key switch activation. Those are switches used in some older mechanical keyboards. No wonder the guitars are so durable.
