Guitar Battles on GH3PC Custom charts

Hi, does anyone know how to create battle powerup sections in Feedback, or something of that nature? My friend and I are stupid and like to play battles.

If I recall correctly, the songlist editor would automatically make a star power phrase a battle powerup for both players, but GHTCP doesn't seem to do this.
