My brother got this guitar on a local toy store almost 2 years ago. It was working fine until now, we had fun and stuff, we have to go Japan for 2 months. When we came back, we didn't know we left the battery in (the battery was pretty low that time) and there were some liquid inside. Green hard slimy thing formed on the metal contacts. I quickly wiped them off with a tissue and scraped off the thing. We tried inserting fresh batteries - it doesn't work anymore. I mean when we switched it on there is no red light near the bottom of the guitar. I think this will fix the problem, but I can't buy stuff on eBay. Is there still hope for this guitar? I recently got GH3 on PC and I want to this game again so bad.

Does this look severe?

Any help will be appreciated!

TL;DR - Battery leaked inside, it broke. Looking for solutions

EDIT: Added some photos

if it leaked inside, you're out of luck. open it and check the damage inside

Hmm I don't have the Torx10 yet but I'll check.
As in 100% this will not work anymore?

pictures are way too big. but I think yes it's shot. but you never know. get a T10 and maybe use sandpaper on contacts and you might be lucky.
