Looks awesome to me. Just make it with the lighter version of the colors alternating with white, and visibility should be impeccable. |

The good DrSham strikes again! DrSham sent me versions for E, M, and H guitar and I ran them to pull data. The boards should be up to date, for those three as of this morning. DrSham is working on getting me the Expert one, it is proving to take longer than the others. We have no automated Grand Total one, but I can always just add up the ones from the other 4 once they are all set. Take a look at them, are they readable as is? Do they need to be bigger, less information? Let us know. _________________

Woo hoo! I made the list!
Great work, DrSham and bushidox. My only suggestion would be making the charts/text a little bit bigger. _________________

iirc, you have atleast 1 on WT EGuitar I saw, which was on vicarious. I still need to go for that optimal, ezaf. You probably have a few others too. _________________

Okay! DrSham in his awesome glory has finished and sent me the final two tables. The Expert table is now done and appears at the top of the page. The Grand Total one is gold and appears at the bottom of the page. DrSham subtly suggested that the Grand Total be purple, which I kinda liked, but I wasn't sure what you guys would think. I am happy to switch it to purple, however, I was trying to maintain the 5 fret colors, but yellow is too loud so I have always used gold. What do you guys think? As for the size, I am rather constrained with what size I can make the tables and make everything fit. We are trying to fit 51 lines by 23 columns into a space that is readable. I use a 13" laptop screen for comparison sake, and if the shots can fit on that, they can fit on anyone's typical screen. I can make them taller and wider, but then there is a lot of horizontal or vertical scroll, and I personally find that very annoying so I try to avoid that in my pictures. You could always zoom the browser image if its a bit too tiny for you.
On to the boards themselves! The boards should be more or less up to date, with the possible exception of suhdude024 whom got a 1st place on GH3 Hard over the weekend, I think he was the only one. Expert has Fug, not surprisingly leading the charge at 225 1sts still, elScarecrow with a lofty total of 164, and followed in 3rd by Mxtchell with 132 1st places, the cutoff is 7, and leaves off several players, so shoot for 8 if you want to make the board. Next, on Hard, we have Fug again with 339 1st places, newuser1234 with 162 1sts, and LemonMeringue at 3rd with 92 1st places. For Medium, we have chemmajr at 176 1st, followed very closely by SlasherManEXE at 175 1sts, and tannerieland11 with an impressive 150 in 3rd place. Moving onto Easy, we have DrSham with a massive 362 1sts, tannerieland11 with 166, and CarlosFandango with 123 1sts for 3rd place. Finally, we have the Grand Total board, with Fug at 575 1sts, DrSham with a hefty 436 1sts, and tannerieland11 at 399. Will a Medium competition between the top two heat up? Will tannerieland11 find another 1st to get a nice round number? We shall see.
I personally, am very impressed with all of you on the Grand Total board, as 26+ 1sts, yes even shared, are an impressive feat. With DrSham's full inclusion we have 660 + 65 BH + 10 exclusives + 63 OT + 10 DJHero + 41 GH:L + 15 BH:DS or 864 1sts possible by difficulty with 4 difficulties to shoot for. Of special note, I want to call out a few interesting surprises. First we have FMH, whom only has scores for GHL and appears at 37, very impressive for a latecomer. Next, is zlinkneo whom surprised me with 52 1sts not on the handhelds where he so excels, boosting his total to 147. Finally, as proof that this honors even long retired players, note that Bj0rn is safely on the board with 35 1sts still. Truly a wide range of difficulties, games, eras, and players are represented in that one shot of Grand Total.
A big thank you again to DrSham, whom is putting together bass boards for us as well, I can already anticipate our top 3 for that one. _________________

Still really surprised I have 14 GH:L Easy 1st still. And looking at it, first place on every Casual song on that game for 360. Granted only three people have scores entered. |

i often wonder if most people who submit scores don't know the paths/how to squeeze or just can't execute the path. it's just curious because i could easily get on the expert board and know i don't belong there considering just how good those guys are at FCing songs compared to me _________________

Well, we already had different things to compare, this was just the last frontier so to speak.
User Statistics track total points either overall or unique on the site.
My Guitar and Bass Leaderboards track all points for on disk for unique songs per difficulty.
Arvain tracks Expert and Hard FCs, so you can see how you stack up there.
Then, my FGFC board allows people to compare how much of the series they have FGFCed.
This board and the bass one, will simply allow you to see how many 1st place scores you have.
Yes, tied scores are a thing, but as newuser points out, proper execution is the key. It doesn't matter if you are a pro expert player for these boards, it matters that you know where to get ALL the points. The hope is to encourage a little bit of competition, and maybe, like we are now seeing on GH3, new scores! I thought it was an interesting comparison point we hadn't focused on yet, so I pulled it together. DrSham did all the hard work. People will use different measuring stick for comparison, this just gives them a new toy to play with. _________________

Hey man, I just gotta say that I really appreciate your enthusiasm when it comes to all this GH stuff. It makes coming to a somewhat dead forum much more fun! Keep it up, hope all is well in your neck of the woods. _________________

honestly depends how I feel. on GH side, I don't really squeeze, but on the RB side, I squeeze every song I play the best I can. don't ask why because I really don't like the rectangle notes and the overall visual. I guess I just want good scores so I'll never play them again. _________________

it's mostly both for me, sometimes I either can't execute a path (especially stuff like double squeezes), and sometimes I really don't feel like it. My best 1st place is Beautiful Soul (BH) Easy Guitar overall by like 500 points, damn ticks LOL. I don't really know how I got it, I was just messing around tbh. I follow the path loosely most of the time. _________________
