I did a few google searches and couldn't find anything about this. But if this has been discovered before then...Sorry I guess.

I was trying to improve my score on Lonely is the Night. I must have restarted at least 15 times. But it could well have been more. I know the HO/PO glitches exist in GH2, but this was a chord that I couldn't hit whenever I restarted the song. This happened 3 times. I fixed it by going back to the main menu and restarting the song, like you do to fix the HO/PO glitches in GH2.

Here's a video from the third time it happened.

That really, really, looks more like you hit it too early. Are you positive you weren't doing that? Did it happen even if you tried hitting it as late as possible?

The audio is a few ms out in the video. I was hitting it consistently before and after I restarted it was fine. I'm 95% sure I was well within the timing window when I hit it

I've never had it happen with a chord before. And I kind of agree with voided, it looks/sounds like you were strumming a bit early on that RB chord compared to all the other notes.

I haven't played a ton of 80's though so maybe that's a glitch exclusive to that game. Although I thought it was the same engine as gh2...

It seemed very similar to the GH2 glitch and occurred under similar circumstances. Which is what lead me to believe it was a glitch. Like with GH2, it was, as far as I could tell, impossible to hit simply by restarting the song. I read somewhere that the glitch was supposedly fixed in GH80s. I haven't noticed anything similar in any other songs mind you.
