GHWT PC - Can't start game with wireless guitar

Alright, so i have a RB4 wireless Fender Jaguar guitar and i have it connected via bluetooth on my PC and of course then i have to have bluetooth enabled at all times while i use the guitar for it to work.

But doing this, i'm not able to boot up GHWT. I did Hex editing that i saw worked for some a couple years ago but i did this and nothing has changed. Still doesn't work.

Is there any fix for this or is all hope lost pretty much?

So the game doesn't start up entirely? Or just that the game does not recognize the guitar and you can use it only as a normal controller?

I have never used any PS controllers with PC, only Xbox ones, so I can't really tell what is wrong. Does windows detect the controller? Is it listed under Devices and printers?
