This problem has been plaguing me for quite some time and it's very frustrating. I'm not sure what to make of it or even what the problem could be. Over the course of a couple months, I have used two different wireless PS3 Les Paul controllers both in my PS3 and PC. I got a second one because I figured the issue was only with the first, but it seems the problem lies elsewhere.

The guitars just randomly miss strums for a few seconds at a time. Occasionally, every minute or so, there is a small window wherein strumming up or down does absolutely nothing. The buttons still work, whammy still works, but strumming does not. The connection seems to break- the lights on the dongle and controller both flicker for a split second before it happens.

It is completely random and there is no pattern to it, nothing I'm doing to cause it. This is a problem with both controllers, with both dongles, both in my PS3 and my PC. What could be going on here? Surely I didn't get two guitars with the exact same defect over a span of months?

Les Paul for ps3 is notorious for malfunction. quick answer is get something else, a WoRtar is the best option.

There's a reason it is called the "Lag Paul".

I remember that guitar, ruined GH3 for me. I came back with a GH5 controller years later and just FCed a bunch of crap no problem, and realised why I suddenly sucked so much more on GH3 was the damn controller randomly dropping!

Now I want a new GH5 guitar for PS3 to use with the old games and RB4, but they are hard to fine in Australia, and expensive when I do
