Looks like the activations just get a little more length from these new phrases.

This song is making me extremely mad. I've got 47x,xxx on it, and I'm perfectly capable of FC-ing it, but I just can't seem to get it. I'll be playing and suddenly it'll say I missed some random note. I'm alternate strumming everything and I'm not even looking at the notes, I'm following the beat markers, so I know I'm on rhythm. I just want that 500k mark bad.

If you're going for the 500k achievement, there are much better songs to go for it on. I think it is very difficult to be consistent enough to get the achievement here. Same goes with the other songs where 500k is barely possible (Fall of Pangea, Jordan). Go for it on Free Bird like I did (easiest), or even Killing in the Name if you're feeling confident.

personally I find this song to be the easiest in the game to get both 100% and 500k+ I can get 100% and 505k-508k every time.

Update: If you're able to get all 3 beats of whammy out of the two phrases before the first OMGCHORD part, then activate before you complete that fourth phrase. It should be worth about 6 notes more. Otherwise, just wait until you've gotten the fourth phrase before activation.

*Sigh*, I was such a noob sp charter back then.

Edit: I still appear to be a noob now, apparently. 3-2-2-2 is better than 3(1)-3-2 by one note if you can get all the squeezes, but since this is 360 and I doubt anyone will be able to do exact squeezing/whammying for that... forget I said this.

So if you use this Star Path, you can get upwards of 500k?

i think this song is incredibly easy, i always hit 100%, yet i only have 465,000 as my highest score. i must use star power wrong. i activate it on the part where there is a bunch of triple notes in a row with star power twice ( netting 135,000 points total :P ). i was sure that was the way to do it, but apparently not.

I saved my SP for the three note chord sections. I think they are among the most optimal sections to use SP since most of the song is the same rhythm. For the first three note chord section, I waited until I absorbed the SP phrase and then I engaged SP.

I was able to get just over 500k by getting 100% and using SP during those sections.

Yeah, but if you use this SP path, yo can get over 500,000 even with screw-ups. I'd know. I broke my streak twice in this song, but with a good SP path, I got around 505,000.
