GH2 - S5 - PS2 - League AA Thread - Week 6 songs posted!

I don't have much to say about this week's songs. Mr. Fix-It will be interesting, YYZ I suck at more than I should, Last Child is something I really should be able to FC but can never pull a run together and Mother... well I really don't know what to say about it.

Woo! Sweet results for submitting them on Tuesday night! I look forward to competing with all of you these few weeks.

As for the song choices, I'm pretty glad I put a lot of work in 3/4 songs in the last two weeks. I haven't touched Mr. Fix-It since FC'ing it and YYZ turned into a huge enemy for the week. Overall, I liked last week better, but this week is by no means bad!

Does the Notes Hit™ percentage show percentage of notes, or percentage of notes/chords.

As in, if we have

, would missing the

chord mean I get 40% or 67%?

AA league!!! I'm super excited to see the competition turn up a knotch, and hopefully I'm not in over my head.

MFI: Super excited about this twist. I'm really good at creating paths, and I really appreciate getting 84% on a song that would normally be a squeeze fest.
LC: I won this song last season, and hopefully I can even top that.
Mother: Not sure I want to sit down and memorize the outro.
YYZ: Barely able to 5* and probably going to spend most of my time on this one.

Oh, and I was right about Thunderhorse ownin me.

Well I know I'm in over my head, I should be in A... or at least AA3... but anyway...

YYZ - I don't know why I suck so bad at this song really... asside from the solo it really isn't all that bad, but there are certain parts I just cannot do so I have to scrape for points just to 5 star it... I was right at the dead bottom of the league last time this one came up and probably will be there again.

Mother... I dunno, probably middle of the pack for me... it's easy all the way through with a nuts solo at the end so really your whole placement is based on the solo...

Mr. Fixit.. no idea how this one will go, I think I already have got the score i'll be submitting. It seems like a pretty easy song to apply that twist to, but some people are crazy good at mapping out *exactly* which notes to play to maximize their score and I can't compete with those people

Last Child.. another middle of the pack song for me. I know I can't FC it but I can get a high %... I am sure there will be people better than me at this one, but there should also be people worse.

Does scoring depend on the margin between you and the people before you, or just your place? I have a pretty hardcore score on one song, but I'm not sure if I should bother trying to improve it, if it won't give me more points. (assuming I get 1st, of course)

It is just based on your place. Margin of victory doesn't give you anything. Assuming you are going to get 1st place with your current score, getting a higher score won't do anything for your league placement, just personal accomplishment.

Mr Fix It - This twist is horrible. I'm gonna actually have to work out what to do.
Mother - I suck at this song. Don't know why.
Last Child - I feckin hate this song! I just do! I can play it, but why couldn't RTT have won?
YYZ - Awesome song. Sometimes I do well, sometimes I don't.
