I've tried the editor nachoyz made and the burn didnt boot. I'll try GWiz for my next burn.

Also what does it mean if GWiz says "Error retrieving band config information"?

Start of February...

Hows the development going, i cant wait for the direct vgs import and the auto phythm to bass conversion, i can edit dtb's to add in guitars... but for the life of me i cant import songs that dont match up rythm to bass,

----

Feature idea, you could use extra nodes att he end of a dtb file to save all the mods that gwiz has already made to the archive to help keep track of any advanced changes that have been made, aka adding in new guitars, and say making it easier to see which songs are where.

So, I'm way to lazy to read through all of the pages in this thread, so sorry if this has been asked, but every time I try to replace a song, it tells me that my new song isnt supported. I've tried using mp3, and ogg, and neither of them work. Any help with this would be great.

Use Audacity to change the song into wav form, atleast that's what I did.

Also I have a question too. When I get to the part where you substitute the midi, it gets to the part where it says creating metronome track or something, an error message pops up that says: Error reading files, error creating metronome track. Can I get some help please, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong

Edit: Nevermind I think I got it, I guess I didn't unzip it or something...

Edit Edit: I'm getting the "Error creating metronome track" thing again, not sure what I'm doing wrong though, I downloaded the newest version of GWiz. Can someone please help me out here?

Does anyone have a fix to my problem? Whenever I import a new song using GWiz, it takes upwards of 15 minutes to replace the DTB files after I've set the offset, etc. Is there any way I can speed up this process, as this makes burning a custom disc take nearly a day...

Rocku go to:

http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18766

and go to the guide but still, to use Ghex you need your guitar hero 2 disc.

there are 2 ways

1. Go to my computer, than the dvd drive, right click on ALL of the files, select copy, go to your desktop and make a folder called "guitar hero"
go into the folder and right click and click on paste.

2. for Ghex go to file, archive Copy from DVD,

You will be prompted to choose a location to copy to. Navigate to the new folder we created on your desktop called "Guitar Hero" and copy there. Once copying is complete, GHEx may ask you to verify your archive. If it does, click Yes. Validation will begin..,

Remember ALL way's read the rules and GO TO THAT Guide

thank you.

Hey, well I'd like to start off and say you are a genius for all the DTB editing but maybe I'm illiterate and didn't see that mp3's were incompatible but when trying to edit/replace a songs audi with an mp3 I get the error

'Resetting to invalid mark" any idea's sorry if this is re-post.
