Hey, I'm looking to make a sp button on my sg. The link you have to a ps2 sp button gives me a message that I can't reach the area of the forum. Does anyone have a link to a guide that I can use?

Ok i have a question.

Is there a to stop my xplorer from automatically double strumming?
I know its not the directional pad because I have REMOVED IT. It still double-strums?

secondly, My wireless Ps2 guitars strum bar keeps sticking to the down position when i strum down to the point where It wont register a strum is
( and vice versa) is there a way to fix that?

So I modded my guitar with a killswitch with a new button, instead of start/select.

The purple is where I drilled a hole in the guitar, and put the button. Soldered wires from the button to the upstrum ______'s (whatever those are called)

What it looks like on the outside...

If you feel like doing this, you can really tell what to do from the pics.
Try to get a NO button that is easy to push...

i'm not sure if this is the same as what overlord said above, but my PS2 SG does an occasional double strum that really messes with my playing. could something be loose in my controller, is there a way to fix this, etc. any help is at all appreciated. thanx in advance!

If it is a PS2 SG, the only thing I can think of suggesting is a velcro-type mod like the ones in this post:

No only will this mod mute the strum noise a bit, but also tighten it up and help prevent bounce back.

i was wondering if there was a guide on how to cut the usb piece off the gh2 360 guitar and take a crappy old ps2 connector and place it. because i know you can buy more usb pieces here http://www.redoctane.com/cable-ghxusb.html

if there is a guide, could you add it?

Damn the tapping mod looks awesome. Since im pretty shit with sg (im a ds player) i'd love to get this done to my sg. It would be an amazing training aid to get used to full strumming.

Is there a fuse somewhere on the black SG from Guitar Hero I that might cause the guitar to not work? Because I opened my SG and all the soldering is ok, nothing is stripped, cut, broken, chipped, scratched, loose, etc. My dad told me maybe the Guitar had a fuse somewhere, can anyone tell me if there is?
