At least for a lot of us, since we're playing on 360, you can check the xbl leaderboards to see if the scores match up unless you get a higher score on a different difficulty. This also kind of eliminates the fun of waiting, though, when you know what score you need to get to place you feel is good, but it's a quick way to see someone's scores.

It pisses me off too to see that up to 14 people might have been cheating, and for what?! So you can get your name in a thread saying you won? Unlike with most competitions, the best part about this one is not so much winning as it is just going week by week, improving scores, and having fun. There's not really a whole lot of pressure here, so I can't see why anyone would want to cheat and push those of us that are actually honest out of the competition. Anyway, hopefully everything gets straightened out and we can all go back to playing this game the way it was meant to be played.

How do you tell if their cheating? I know I played some songs off XBL, so they didn't post to leaderboards. Btw I'd like to add a bunch of you all to my friends list, so if you REALLY REALLY want to, friend req. blobzorz =p

I agree 100% with Brock and Blob. There is no point in cheating. The league is just supposed to be fun and improve you. People who were cheating should remember that this is a video game and it's supposed to be all in good fun. If you do well, then good for you but cheating to do well is pointless. It's a game, have fun with it. Take your time, Elx. We will stay chill until it gets straightened out.

i agree with everyone also.. that silly.. also just take a picture of your scores.. that will eliminate confusion and cheating.. then you have to keep your self accountable anyways!

totally agree, why must they cheat? yeah ive seen you on the leaderboards... mainly below my scores . add me, McSkinny already added brock, anyone else can add me too, i like to see how i rank against other scorehero people. oh expecially add me psxfreak

I believe to prevent the cheating pictures for your score should be mandatory. For next week and playoffs i think there should be a rule. There is guys like me who haven't played on Xbox live since May because of playing on a bigger and better TV with a sick 5.1 surrond system in my living room as opposed to my computer room where if i want to play XBL i go.

Everyone owns or knows someone with a digital camera, they are pretty common now. To get rid of the cheating, i'd say that's the easiest way.

And like others said, it is just a video game league. Who cares if you have bragging rights over someone for beating them in the league because you cheated. If you really need to cheat in a Guitar Hero league to win and feel better about yourself, that's really really sad.

Hopefully we can get this all sorted out soon!
