just a thought, and nothing against overlordandm, but i think he would be very competitive in the division 1 playoffs and the division 2 playoffs would be much more competitive without him. if he stays in division 2, he's almost certainly gonna own everyone. his scores are always right there in the tops of the division 1 scores...

such a terrible week, i played every song once, freebird twice as i was busy this week. Finished fourth with 3 points behind moose, my worst week since week 1. I should really look into using starpower paths.

Better come back strong for playoffs!

Fatwilma to let you know ive been thinking the same thing. At the beginning of the league it was very competitive for me. but the I went on my path to get the Log. after getting that I went back to hard and it was like cake. next season Im definately going to the expert league. also considering i knew nothing about star paths at the beginning of this season and now I never start a song without looking at one.
Its also wierd because most of the time I play the song one time.

I want to know how many people actually alt. strum on freebird and where it would be needed. I can see it being used for solo c, but not much else. Ithink it would have been more fun to have a no alt. strum twist for Misirlou .

I hate my whammy right now. I know what note I missed that McSkinny and Brock (likely easily) hit on Life Wasted (and evidently, I would've had 1st too had I reached it...), and I know where McSkinny got those extra notes on R&RHK. Also peeved that I didn't FC Collide. Didn't even get near FCing it somehow.

I can see my whammy bringing my downfall during the playoffs...

Yea the only place in freebird I actually alt strum are in solo c but its not needed anywhere else.

Id also like to take this time to thank elx for the league. mostly because its really fun to play competitively like this. sorry about that cheating catch last week and the work being piled up but you still kept the league running fine.
secondly because it helped increase my scores dramaticly. I started the league like rank 65-70
and now on scorehero im ranked 24th currently on hard

You know, no alt strum on Misirlou would be right up my alley *flexes 124k Misirlou expert downstrumming score*

Also, I downstrum all of Freebird, but if anything would need alt strumming, I would've picked solo q. The way the triplets are arranged on the solo there is enough to make brains explode (mine included) trying to hopo, so some people may find it easier to alt strum those triplets just so they actually hit the notes. Of course, I downstrum it :P

lol, it's real i could send in photo proof if you really want, wasn't really expecting 1st. i just used the expert path made by GetThere1Time (3-3-2-2-2). before i did that i used the 3-3-3-3 path and got 255k . so i did it again. no clue how to get 245k on life wasted, freebird was ok, collide i missed a few squeezes, didnt want to do again. ya

For as many times as I played that song, I still can't see where I could improve without having a perfectly flawless run, and with the x-plorer's whammy-bar and select button, I know I won't.

Same with life wasted. I wasn't looking for straight 1sts this week because I had a comfortable lead and it's the last week, so I got scores that I could live with and just submitted them. Good luck during the playoffs everyone!

And anyone who doesn't believe you can just check xbl, so there's really no need for a picture.
