Woke up this morning and I had no internet. I had to reformat my hard drive and re-install windows. Finally got the internet back after 2 hours of installing everything. I got afraid I wouldn't be able to submit my playoff score. _________________

I hear ya. Monday night when I got out of work at 1AM I played for like 45min before I went to work again. On my third try I got my high. I played for like 2 hours last night and the closest I got was 300 points off. There were times when I felt like I beat it, and then as I got toward the end I was like "what the hell?" I was pissed because I felt like I wasted my time. I sent my score last night because I can't play tonight. Gotta get to bed in like half an hour. Got to be at work at 3AM. I am glad to hear that I am not alone though. Don't get me wrong, I am comfortable with my score. It is just that there ain't a lot of wiggle room in that song... you either hit the squeezes or you don't. _________________

I was going to buy the 80's until I learned I was in the first round. Since I would not have time to play it yet, I did not. Siouxper, how is it? Exactly like GH2 but different songs? I probably won't ge tit until this tourney is over or I get bounced. _________________

I bought it and it's exactly like GH2 except for the colors a little and songs. Beat it on hard first day I got it. Set list was actually better than I expected. _________________

Krazeek, you beat it on hard already? Out of curiosity, have you beat GH2 on hard? I have not... I can't get past Carry Me Home. But, I have not even tried since this league started. _________________

We were talking about the 80's. But, I agree, 1 was MUCH easier! _________________

lol, I was saying "+1" like I agree with what he said and have done the same with 80's, I just kind of put it all in one sentence. But yeah GH1 is easier then GHII. _________________

I'm hoping to, I played the song about 100 times until I finally figured out how to squeeze and was happy with my score. But you never know, my opponent could come out of nowhere and blow me away. _________________

Well I'm glad you guys are happy. I'm pretty uncomfortable with my score. I JUST CAN'T SQUEEZE!!! I'd be lucky to make it past Round 1! _________________

I could not even figure out what squeezing was at first. I could not understand what everyone was talking about. Third time playing Woman I got my high score for the week. The next night I had an epiphany about squeezing, so I played the song for two more hours, and could NOT top that score. Apparently I squeezed quite well that one time and did not even know it! And I guess I have been doing it all season.
Like I said before, that song sucks as far as improving your scores. It is mainly single notes and chords - no sustains. You either hit a note or chord or you miss it. But, sustains (especially when you have them in series) you may be able to improve you timing because you may let go too early before in an effort to hit the next one, thereby losing points.
When I activate SP, I am a tilter, and I still do quite well. I actually trained myself to hit the select button for this song trying to squeeze more out of it, and I got my high tilting.
When I thought I had a bye in the first round, I started playing GH1 to enter some scores. There is one activation in "I Want to Be Sedated" that I could not get right tilting. So I said what the hell, I will try the select button. For that song it helped me, but it did not in Woman.
For ABC news, this has been Dirty Harry. _________________
