it has before, any tips on the whole medium not present thing? its on imgburn, and dvd decrypter is the same. alcohol 120 wont let mme click anything, and nero wont download because i used up the trial

Get the DVDs you last used to burn a Guitar Hero disc.

i dont really remember which one i used. i have some -RW and some -R, and i dont know which is the right one

I would opt with the -R considering most PS2s can't read RW.

sorry for all the posts, but this one is a different problem. i finally got the disc to burn off nero, but when i used my custom thing to get it in, it said it wasnt a valid PS2 disc. on nero, i used data burn because they dont have image burn anymore. did i use the right burn, or do i use another? or is image burn somewhere on nero 8?

You have to find an image burn, or an ISO burn. The data burn isn't the right selection.

Well, I doubt that it was converted because Media Player has no use of the file, so the file extension .47 is probably associated with Media Player now. If that's the case, you don't have to worry about it. However, to get rid of it, open the folder that your Guitar Hero archive is in, and:
1) Go to Tools -> Folder Options -> (Click the) File Types (tab)
2) Find .47 in the list an associate it with nothing (clear all associations).

yes another problem, but its not with burning the disc. i burned it using nero 7, but it didnt let me choose the burn speed (i have 1x-16x Sony discs). i burn it, put it in the playstation using swapmagic, and it gives me a not a ps2 disc error. i go through the troubleshooting guide on the guide, but tells me to let apache 3 write the iso, but i used img burn to, and i waited until the little jingle went. any help?

What the fuck, I clicked on the guide and all it said was that it didn't support modding GH2 360 and it wouldn't let me do anything else.

That's not the point, I'm trying to go back to look at the PS2 Gh2 and it won't let me.

i went to the same page to see what you were dealing with, nd there is a way. at the top, there is a link to change consle and game settings, or something around that. click that, and you can get to the ps2 gh2 section

by the way, anyone know how to solve my problem? its about four posts up

Try using DVD Decryptor? Always works for me. What programs are you using to build the .iml and the .iso?
