Hope the guide gets back up, it's what I used to learn customs when I made a few discs over a year ago, and I kinda need it to relearn how to do everything XD

Same Here. I forgot almost everything and this guide is so complete. Hope it's up soon! . .

This is stupid... I'm getting linked to this "highschoolfaq" bullshit. Not a guide.
The guide was at http://guitarhero.highschoolfaq.com/ (no, I don't know the story behind it being hosted at that URL, but that's where it was...notice the guitarhero. before it) and is now down.

Gah, what happened to the guide? Where is it?!?! I need it! That bastard nickb broke it and now its gone!!!!!

Owait, I'm nickb.

I've rehosted the guide at a more permanent location. Everything should be working but if it isn't let me know. All of your preferences for the different settings will need to be redone as its on a new domain now, but besides that you shouldn't notice anything different.

Also, if somebody would like to assist in revamping / adding to the guide, because the functionality is there, feel free to PM me. I would only want one or possibly two people. You would be expected to be proficient in:

  1. HTML / CSS
  2. Some PHP
  3. FTP
  4. The customization process you're writing about.

Have at it.

Problem: Game freezes after intro
ISO Size: 2 Gb
Burning Program: Isoburn
What happens when the disc is played in the PS2: The game starts up fine and the intro plays, but freezes into a blank screen when I try to play either the Career mode or single play
Modding Method: HDLoader

Anyone?

Did you do any DTB edits ?? This is a known error that if you edit a DTB to much, the game freezes after the intro.

Nope. So far I've only replaced all the songs from badreputation to redlottery. I was doing a test run before adding more songs to see whether it works.

Now I got it working. It froze cause I hadn't replaced shoutatthedevil yet . And as it happens to be the first track I never got past the main screen.
