Maybe not the best path but got me 8th place.

2 (Full Whammy) : 2nd yellow
2 (Full Whammy) : 7th green
2 (Whammy only first 3 holds of SP 5) : As soon as you hit last note of SP 6
3 (Full Whammy) : Next note

Here's what I came up with.

2 - next yellow
2 - 6th green
2 - Whammy the first hold only, right after
3 - next note

Got me third and I missed at least 2 squeezes.
