OK so lil' help.........
A rare case where two different pathes come up exactly equal or 1, count 'em 1, point better.
My prefered method of 3(1)-2-2-2, was, if I counted right, exactly 1 point less than 2(1)-3-2-2. 5007 pts vs 5008 points. Although the 3-2-2-2 path does rely on a tough squeeze to get 50 points. So I charted both, and for non squeezing me, I like the 3-2-2-2 better.
3 - next note. Boy that's quick, I'll never get it. Plays over SP 4
2 - G note after the break
2 - next note. Tweakers welcome
2 - next note. Tweakers welcome
The other path you would activate on the last note of the SP 3 phrase so it ends before sp 4.
Seems an obvious path everyone can figure out and gosh darn, have fun with it. Finally Iron Maiden to play. woo hoo. Killers and Number of the beast were two albums I learned to play bass to early on. Let's hope at least one of the first 3 albums are DLC for rock band or GH3 in the future.
Edit: Got so fixated on the chords after sp6, OH wow 700 points!!! that I was blinded to the obvious, start after the break thing. So, edited the text and posted a sloppy but fixed chart. Thanks for correction Mr. Rude.

oh sweet i see what you did there red is path 2-3-2-2- and black is path 3 2 2 2 .
i think i went 3 2 2 2
after looking again i dont see how you got your first red activation and then still get the next set of stars
-edit-
3 2 2 2 is the best path....move your second activation up 3 measures and you'll get more points the measures you chose give a base score of 1050 the if you wait three measures (two fast green notes) and go you'll get 1600 base points. all the rest are right though
in other words. 3 squeeze next note, 2 wait for 2nd green and squeeze, 2 squeeze next note, 2 squeeze next note.

D'oh hope I didn't draw it wrong.
For the 2(1)-3-2-2 red path, start the first activation on the final note of the SP 3phrase. That means you won't get the extra 2 measures of sp from sp3 and it ends before 4. That was the dilemma in this chart because you don't have enough room for 6 measures, so which do you skip, sp3 or sp 4? It's real, real close and could come down to which path is easier for an individual to play. _________________
