It's IIDX. It's supposed to be impossible to do. I'm learning that the hard way.

Just seeing that makes me want to buy that game...but I don't think that it could get in the way of GH.

Once I get some spare cash, I think I'm gonna get Beatmania. I need a new challenge until GH2 makes it here.

I was doing level 3's on IIDX and 4's levels on 5key within 2 days after buying Beatmania, but everything after that is going to be impossible for a long time. I hate steep learning curves because it forces me to play the same songs over... and over.. and over... and over again. I like the learning curve in DDR and Guitar Hero.

:-D Doesn't matter for me, I'll fail and fail again until I pass it. I almost got Max 300 on heavy for ddr ^_^

I was more okay with this on Guitar Hero and DDR than Beatmania because I dislike most of the Beatmania songs.

You'll find you get to about the 5/6 level before your really start noticing your progress slow down. I've been on 9's for 3 months, and I've only passed 3 10's (going by the 12 point rating system)

Quite true. I'm stuck at the point where I can pass every 5, but not every 6.

I actually hit a small jump recently, where I could suddenly read things I couldnt before. For example, Shlagwerk [a], Bad Boy Bass[a], Nemesis[h]

I'm at a standstill recently, mainly because of reading the patterns. I can pass most 7K 7s (Hyper for you BMUS players) and a fair amount of [a] charts. If i get stuck at a level...I play one of my many other rhythm games, til I get stuck again...and keep going. The cycle continues, but because it's all the same style of reading...It just all keeps getting better

If I had the money I'd buy this game. I played Beatmania for the first time a week or so ago in an arcade. I failed, but it was still the most fun I've had since opening Guitar Hero. Mr. Green
