Just played Guitar Hero III in Leipzig

I work for a German video game site called nintendowiix.net and today, we visited the Games Convention in Leipzig for the first time this year. They're still in late build-up phase, but we could walk around the place and Activision actually let us play Guitar Hero III. They were the only ones who let us play anyway, and I think it was pretty cool of them

There are 8 songs playable, 3 of which haven't been announced yet. There's "You talk dirty" by Poison, a song by Cream (forgot the title) and another song I forgot about, but they'll probably be announced tomorrow, anyway. Sadly, all the songs are first or second tier. No hard stuff, but it's understandable because the game isn't popular in Germany and they don't want to overwhelm people.

I played you talk dirty. The song was very basic, but fun. I wouldn't be surprised if someone FC'ed it on a sight read though. It reminded me of Strutter a lot, espacially the

solo.

HO/PO's feel exactly like they felt in GH2. The feel of the game is generally intact, anyway. The "50 Song Streak" popups aren't nearly as annoying as I thought. It's a worthy sequel, Harmonix couldn't have done it better. I actually unlocked an achievement while playing, "Bronze Gold Sreak - 5G", which made me laugh.

So many great Cream songs...Ah well.

That's alright. "Sunshine of your Love" owns too. And the coop track will be really cool.
