Aggggggh! The only thing keeping me from 5-starring this stupid song is the alternating G-GR part!! Do you guys have any tips for me for this part?

And, supplemental question, is there a tempo change partway through the string of notes? I can hit the R-RB almost 100% of the time, but I can never hit the G-GR part. Common sense would show that I should be able to hit both if I could hit one almost every single time.

(And before you ask, it's not because my timing is better in my ring finger than in my middle finger.)

You're not the first person to say that. I don't know what it is, but I'm almost positive that it's exactly the same tempo and rythym all the way through. On Expert mode, when the holds have notes at the beginning and end, you never break stride on the strumming. It's always 1-2-rest-1-2-rest.

It's the same as the transitions in the song when you switch between sections. On hard, for instance, the part Y-YB (rest) Y-YB (rest) YB-G is the same rythym. Dunno if that helps, but all I can say is try to really feel the beat ... I often tap my foot to keep myself in sync.

Agh...I hate my timing. I can now hit the G-GR part pretty well, but now I can't hit the R-RB part.

>_<

There's always gotta be SOMETHING wrong that keeps me from 5-starring this...

the way i got it down was i only looked at the red note the entire way through...so while holdin the green down the entire time, only look at red and jus tap it with your middle finger...(somethin i noticed was that the tempo doesn't change but you do kinda hafta hit em faster than u think u would)

Just really focus on the the rhythm, it's kind of like a galloping rhythm. Duh-DUH Duh-DUH Duh-DUH... Pretty crude terms but thats how I think of it.

In fact, looking at the notes screws me up, I close my eyes during that part.

See, I tried that and I got messed up when I was leaving the G-GR part and going back to the short sustain notes.

Um, maybe. I'm actually trying to put together a 100% video of this at the moment.

The chorus has got to be the most annoying part fo this game.

I'll hit every single one once, and then not hit a single one seconds later.

Shame this video never came to be. I wanted to see SOMEBODY hit those stupid chords.
