Someone on the JoBlo.com movie boards, on the videogames forums posted this for NO ONE KNOWS on Hard difficulty...they did okay.
Thing that is pissing me off is the picture for 5 star cutoff on this very website has a guy that hits only 81% of the notes and still gets 5 stars! I've been consistently nailing 90%+ and getting 4 stars and 30,000 points off the promised land! Arghhhhh!
*EDIT*
For example:
What I Just Did: 4 Stars, 167,555 score, 120 Note Streak, 94% Notes Hit!
A Picutre of the 5 Star Hard: http://64.235.252.233/gh/No.One.Knows-Hard.CO8.jpg
How can I hit 13% more notes and still not even come close to getting a 5 star? Now I know this is a matter of using star power.. |

Don't go off of that. Most of the people who prove the cut-offs use the Always Green cheat to make it easier on themselves. They just get a lot of score at once, then will sprinkle on a few notes for the rest of the song to get closer and closer to the cutoff. So their percentage goes waaaaaaaaay down at the end of the song. _________________

I see...Always Green cheat, I'm guessing that has to be put through a device like GameShark or Codebreaker? |

Nope. Press YBOOBBYG at the main menu and you have it.
The game doesn't save with it on though, so you can't blaze through BatM on Expert and expect to actually have that count towards you passing the song in the Career. _________________

This is getting insane, I've been doing this song two straight hours! The verses...jesus I have them perfect. What's starting to kill me again is the RED + RED/BLUE buildup to the solo. I had it perfect just letting it rip really fast, now I'm trying to star power it and then quickly play, but it's not working, I don't seem to hit any of the notes right. |

Hate to be the one to tell you to do this, but just keep practicing. This is the one part in the game for me where it's really hit or miss. Either I nail everything in there perfectly or I miss everything.
Just play until you get the hit. Not the miss. _________________

Don't worry, and advice is good advice, especially being told to just keep practicing. I know that. This is one of those songs where I'm beating it or I'm not going to sleep! Heh ;)
Needless to say, it will be a while before I can do this mid-song for NO ONE KNOWS on Hard:

Question for anyone: When is the better time to star power?
A) The verses where I am perfect and can get 8x.
B) The chorus where the G + G/R chord changes have a possibilty of scoring me many points?
I'm testing this now.. |

I'd say A, but mainly because you already have the 8x. If you can perfect the G GR chords, use it there. _________________

No problem. If you need any more help, just ask.
As you can probably tell, I don't really venture too far away from these forums. _________________
