Ok, I just got my copy of Tony Whoever (i.e. the GH3 preview)

The demo is on the same disc as the game. It contains local multiplayer, and the five tracks as previously announced.

+ On the plus side, you should be able to rent this at your local Blockbuster/Hollywood in a week or so (everyplace I called today said they only process new games once a week). You won't have to worry about it being on a separate not-included disc.
- On the minus side, you aren't going to be able to strip the "bonus disc" out of the packaging and return the game (our original plan).

haha thats what i was planing to do

why is the 360 getting special treatment?!

Oh, that's right, I forgot that GH2 came out for 360 about 4 months before PS2, and Rocks the 80s was 360 exclusive.

the gh3 demo is on the thps game disc

the game feels good , but the speed is really too slow (i play only with hyperspeed on gh2)

the game is more easy than gh2 :s , but perhaps the slowspeed feels like the notechart looks hard
let s see with the hyperspeed when the game will be realeased

258k on scorpion expert at 1rst try ^^

Yea i too felt the speed seemed slower and more condensed then ever normal speed on gh2 which was a disappointment to me. It was like playing on coop. I don't know why they would change that.

I also don't like the new stupid noises it makes when u miss a note or over strum etc, it doesn't even sound like noises a guitar would make.

The white part on top of HOPO notes is way too big and vibrant and even the star power notes look bad.

Overall i'm not too impressed except the graphics look amazing and i like all the re-designs they did.

What!? Only for 360? Now I'm still going to rent THPG, but I won't get to play GH3 until December when I get christmas money. (Unless my friend gets it which he probably will.)

The demo is all over the internet now, you can burn it to a cd or dvd and play it in your xbox 360, I'd post a link, but it's probably not too legal

Your Xbox will require the Direct X 10 update, so unless you have LIVE, you will need to go rent a newer game that has the update on it (ie tony hawk pg which contains the working demo anyway) or download it off the net (which i still have no clue where to find)
the demo is legit and works, but ill prolly just go and rent thps

its such crap that all the demos and all the downloadable songs are only for the 360. they need to make these things available for the ps2

if the ps2 had the capabilities of saving information i'm sure they would. And considering PS2 got a 30 song expansion pack (way cheaper than the downloadable tracks), and to date, with the downloadable tracks and the xbox exclusive tracks the current total is 30 songs available for xbox only, i'm pretty sure right now we're even. So at least let us get a head a little ways before the bitching starts...
