This forum is for reporting problems or unexpected behavior regarding any part of Score Hero. You should not post here to give suggestions or ideas about new things that could be added. Only post to indicate that something is wrong with the existing Score Hero functionality.

In order for me to fix a bug, first I need to find the lines of code to which it refers. To make this easier, you should submit your report in the following format:

Subject: brief description of the bug/issue

Message Body: consisting of the following sections

1. Procedure

Give step-by-step instructions on which links/buttons you clicked and data entered (if relevant). If possible, I should be able to recreate the problem by following this procedure.

2. Expected Behavior

Explain what you think should have happened after following the procedure you described.

3. Actual Results

Describe in detail what really happened and how it differs from the expected behavior explained above.

4. Suggestion (optional)

If you think you know what's wrong and want to give a suggested fix, do so here.

This may be a an issue with your language packs. Check the forums. Is there a forum that is named *****? Or do you see it as 5 squares? If it's 5 squares, then you just need to update your language packs (I think).

Alternately, you could reuse rating_5.gif instead of the ★ characters.

First of all, this is very random. This can come at any time, so I don't think it is manual.

1. A- Go to Mangae Scores.
1. B- Click on the game of your chocie.
1. C- Click on the difficulty of your choice.
1. D- Click Insert on the song of your chocie.
1. E- Fill out the form (you must have score, % of notes hit, note streak, and most of the time, a comment.)
1. F- Click submit.

2. The form should dissapear and after a bit, your info should appear near the song.

3. THIS PART IS RANDOM, BUT THE STEPS ABOVE SHOULD MAKE IT LESS RANDOM. The form will stay, but it will take you to the homepage on the form page and takes you to this link:http://www.scorehero.com/?2.

4. I have no clue of what to do.

It might seem like it's random, but it means you were idle too long and your session timed out (i.e. you left manage scores or the insert score page open for 20 minutes or so, before submitting your score) so it redirects back to the homepage (http://www.scorehero.com/?2) to process your login again. It should never happen if you're not idle for long periods of time.

1. Procedure

I opened the site decided to register and so i clicked the register button. After putting in all my information it said register successful and said i could log in. It works just fine for the forum log in but not for the home page.

2. Expected Behavior

I was expecting to log in and input scores and such

3. Actual Results

I tried to log in and it said invalid login. After a few attempts it says too many failed log ins please try later. So i did...same problem

4. Suggestion (optional)

I don't know what is wrong but i suggest maybe a activation email be sent confirming email and passwords and such.

1. I entered my score of 163649 on "Lay Down" by Priestess

2. I expected it to say I had a 5* rating, like it did in my GH3 game

3. It told me I had a 4.7* rating

This isn't bothering me that much, but it sucks when the site isn't giving me credit for it.
Note: If this isn't a bug sry, im in a rush and don't have the time to read how the site scores the songs.

Lay Down's 5-star cutoff is 173,424. 163,469 is a 4-star score. Are you sure your score wasn't in fact 173,469, and you just misentered it?

Hi, I have forgotten my password. When using the link for creating a new password no email was sent to my email address.

I am going from memory here. If I log out to check details, I may not be able to log back in to submit this.

Also to avoid any confusion, my notebook is not logged into the site and that is where my problem is. I am currently entering this bug report from my work computer which had my account logged in since the beginning.

1. Procedure:

a. On The log in page
b. click the link "forgot password"
c. Fill in all relevent data.
d. Press the submit button.

2. Expected Behavior:

I expected an email to be sent to me containing a new password.

3. Actual Results:

After pressing the submit button. The page updates and says to check my email for the new password. I never received an email.

Email notifications were turned off a while ago, if I remember correctly. Depending on what browser you use, you can go into Options and see if your password is stored under Security Options.

1. Procedure

- Manage Scores
- GH2 > 360 > Hard > Crazy On You (Insert link)
- Entered Score (193307) and Rating (4)
- Clicked the Submit Score button

2. Expected Behavior

I expected it to update my score as usual.

3. Actual Results

It displays my score, but not my rating. It also gives me a message that says:

"Your existing score has been updated with the picture and video links you provided."

I didn't attach any links, though.
