Is it possible to consistently alt strum through the entire first part? GGGBBBYYGGRR I think it is. Or do you need to pause? My main problem is combo breaks during this part, and the chords at the end. Any suggestions as to recommended point totals at certain intervals to make sure 5* is attained?

That's exactly what I need. I saw earlier that a guy said you should have 90,000-100,000 when you hit the long Y+O, and my best so far by then is 70,000, and it's usually closer to 60,000 for me. I've been getting in the mid 180,000s and I think my problem is the beginning. I can't seem to keep a combo there for the life of me. Also, I keep forgetting to save SP for the end chords, so I can get a lot more points there also. If they were all 2 or 4 strums per color I'd be fine, but since it's 3,3,2,2,2 it kills me.

I finally 5 starred it. The goals I usually set were 25-30k by the first break, 45-50k by second break, 70-80k by third break, then 90-100k by the Y+O hold. FC the whole slow part until you get back to the GGGBBB part, use SP wisely, and hope for the best. Mr. Green

Not a good strategy for top score, but it got me 5*, and that was my goal.

I'm assuming you just keep replaying this song until you have the "feel" for it. I am having a hard time keeping combo during pretty much every part except the slow part. In the beginning, do you guys alt. strum even the single notes in between the long strings of notes?

I alt strum the groups of notes, then downstrum the singles. It helps you to get a rhythm better. Just count in your head - 123456 1 2 3 123456 1 2 3, etc.

Did you use Echelar's path, or tweak it at all? If not, it may just be that others struggle to get the squeezes in such a difficult song as well, heh.
