JCirri's SP strategy is the same as mine except I use my final star power almost immediately. That may be what is cheating me out of the extra points. I'm not TOO bad at squeezing notes...

1.Do you get ALL of the SP note things?

2. Do you have some SP left over by the end of the song?

3. how much points do you have by the solo?

As for #3, during the break after the solo I had 98,301 on my best run.

I do tilt for that activation in the solo, however for the others I actually use select since I can be more accurate with the timing and it's easy enough to not miss any notes around it.

The timing for the activation in the solo is hard to explain. Obviously you'll want to get the very first note after the SP combo under SP. If you do that, you'll get a decent score (assuming you also get the other two squeezes on activations 3 and 5). But to compete for 1st place, you need to activate as late as possible in the solo, delaying that first note as much as possible and barely getting it under SP so that you maximize your hold points at the end before it deactivates. You'll also need to hit the starred holds early and whammy immediately to extend the SP duration as long as possible.

If you get 98,150 or higher after the solo, that's a decent score and increasing it from there will depend on how many hold points you can get under SP at the end of the solo.

Reading this thread almost makes me cry a little, after finally getting my first FC (on expert at all) on the song and NOT improving my score. Guess I'll know what to do if I actually try this sucker again any time soon.

I just beefed up my score by almost 4k with that star path. Guess I'm not great at squeezing.

Though I'm comfortable moving on no matter what place I get for this song.
