The secret is that those of us who try to create SP strategies fall asleep whenever we try this boring song. |

No offense man..but it takes a bit of time and effort to come up with optimal star strategies...and it is clearly a competitive edge. It also takes time to sit down and post them...time that could be spent playing the game or developing strategies for other songs.....
meanwhile it is all too easy to just jump on the forum and ask. So don't get too upset when you don't get a rush of people sharing their secrets. ;)
If you were to take the time to post your current strategy (as bad as it may be), perhaps people would be more willing to show you some places in your strategy that are not optimal. _________________

i think that you should count the eighth notes in the solo so you know if you are going to stop strumming up or stop strumming down, so you dont accidentally take another strum when ou dont need it. |

This is what I have been doing (my score isn't that great, but I always mess up on stupid parts so I can't test if it's a great way to do it):
Get three SPs (full bar) and use when the GY chord starts.
Get the next two SPs (almost full bar) and use when the GY chord starts.
Get the next two (whammy second) and use right after.
Get the other two SPs in solo and use when GY chord starts again.
On the next SP, whammy the whole thing, then the one after that, only whammy for like 1.5 or 2 beats of the first SP chord, and activate the SP IMMEDIATELY after hitting the RY chord (second half of the SP chords). This will make it end right when the next SP starts. Otherwise you will miss it and not get another SP activation.
Get the SP right after the SP ends (read above) and the last one and use when the chords come in towards the end.
This is what I do. Not sure if it's optimal. And no nice drawing. Sorry :P
Hope it helps. Also, if it's wrong, feel free to correct it. |

Ok, so now I just have to actually not screw up during the song :P
Thanks Pope and Quiet for verifying. |

I ALWAYS miss that last SP activation. I'll try it out when I get home. Thanks for the tips! Should boost my score into the 260's or 270's.
Edit: Hm, I screwed up worse than usual on easy parts but still managed a 10K increase to make 53rd place. Good enough for now. Thanks once again. _________________
