Congrats and welcome to those of you who made the Season 6 XBOX Expert Playoffs!

(Next part gratuistously copied from barfo)
Each round of the playoffs is one song and lasts ~3 days. All contestants play the song as much as they can during the challenge period and enter their best score into ghevents. There are no twists, beat the score of the person you are bracketed against to advance.

Persons marked as 'alternates' can send a score for the first round, and will get placed into the bracket if there are no-shows among the bracketed people. Note that the bracket assignments may change based on drop-outs - I will slide all the seeds down and add alterantes at the highest seed. All such movements are done before i look at any actual scores to preserve fairness.

If you know you cannot participate (or for whatever reason do not wish to), please let me know ASAP by posting in this thread (or sending me a PM) so that i can give your spot to an alternate

*New: All playoffs scores for xbox expert will be handled directly by rabies via PM. I know some of the other divisions will be handled through GHevents like the regular season, but after some thought, for playoffs, I would prefer individual PMs.

All scores are due at 9:00 PM pacific time (midnight eastern) on either wed night or on sat night. Late scores will earn you a forfeit.

1st Round : Expert - Jessica (Due: 9/19)
Quarters : Expert - LaughTrack (Due: 9/22)
Semis : Expert - The Trooper (Due: 9/26)
Finals : Expert - Institutionalized (Due: 9/29)

Posting for reference

Players who would have made playoffs had they submitted week4 scores need to PM me asap. I make no gaurantees that you will still be in the playoffs, but I will see what can be done to accomodate you.

We have to make an assumption that because you could not submit week 4 scores, you are either no longer interested, or cannot continue playing for one reason or another. Based on that, I assigned playoff spots to reward the active players who participated all 4 weeks.

Im up really early so I get first post

Just like to say thanks to the guys who orgainzed this league, I cant describe the affect its had on my improvement. Before I joined I was 400th, now 160-ish. Its been a great experience. Good luck to all who made the playoffs!

Won't be until tonight. Sorry guys. One of my kids Birthdays today, so I can only spot check things for 5 minutes here and there....and I need an uninterrupted hour or so to do brackets.

with 16 players, bye weeks would not be used, as the tournament would naturally go from 16-8-4-2-1.
