1-2-2-3-1
Edit: Oh, perhaps I should point out that the first and second to last activations should be a few measures later. Especially the latter, because of the time signatures. _________________

My new #1 actually uses a different path --- 1 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 2. My current best of 105615 is far from optimal... _________________

I'm not sure, I think it means that you need to whammy 50% star power out of the first star power long notes, then activate it once you get x4 - it finishes a few seconds before the second star power comes up so you don't miss it, just activate right as you hit x4, else you'd lose points. Then you just use star power when it's ready again (after the third one), then you use it after the fifth one again, then you wait for 3 star powers (75% bar or more) and use it again. The last star power is a long note you can whammy a full 50% out of again. |

For the noobs posted earlier, I'll try and make Malictus path clearer. He's pretty good at this though so don't expect ot equal his scores, at least not right away.
1-2-3-2-2 are the number of SP phrases to get before activating.
Get 1 sp - with 12 beats of hold, you can get more than a half meter. 7.5 beats will get half so you get about 5 1/4 measures of star power. Every little bit of hold notes under sp adds up, so you should act. right away on the first green note which will be tough after the whammy.
Get the next 2 phrases, and with the 3.75 beats of whammy at the end of SP3 you get 5 measures of star power. Again the best starting point is the first note after SP3
collect 3 sp phrases, and by whammying the short hold note in sp4, you get 6 1/4 measures of star power. This one doesn't seem to matter where you start because it's all 4 notes per measure pointwise. Top scorers tend to activate with the select button and activate the millisecond before hitting the first note under star power, which lets them squeeze out one extra note worth of points under SP. It's a hard but critical technique for the biggest points. I fail miserably at this myself.
Get the next 2. If you can whammy all those short holds and not screw up you're gonna get 6 measures and have to activate right away. This is another big difference in scores, those short little whammies are hard to do (and not lose the combo). He's better than me and may even activate this one during the final hold note of SP8 which could get another 100 points or so???
Get the final 2, and once again if you can whammy all the short holds of SP9, you can fill the meter after SP10. I would activate on the first note after the short break because you could squeeze in a note. It's really close pointwise if you use it more towards the end with all the sustains. But I think this is where he's gonna activate.
Alot of times players will post a path and let you figure where to activate for the most points. In this case I think it's the very next note in each case.
The new member on 3/22 had it figured out though, cool. Now go on and spend several weeks reading all the forums, cause there's a ton of good info in there. _________________

I really dont think any of the 1-2-3-2-1-1 paths that debr has work, mainly due to the fact that I havent been able to ever get a half bar out of the 2nd to last SP. Is it even possible? _________________

It's definitely possible to get half a bar out of the 2nd to last SP phrase, the thing that makes it really tough is you literally have to activate it immediately, otherwise you'll overlap the last SP phrase. The timing window is ridiculously small. _________________
