I'll get the ball rollin.......
Haven't gotten 100% yet so I don't know if the path is any good, but here's what I charted. I'm also interested in alternate paths as well.
Basically 3, 3, 3
1. Get 3 with as much whammy as you can and start on the BR of the 4th chorus phrase, measure 22
2. Get 3 and start on the R note of the third chorus phrase about measure 41
3. time to waste whammy and star power.......SP 7 is just too short and combining it with SP 6 or 8 doesn't work for me so, Get 3 and again activate on the R note of the third chorus phrase about measure 77. SP 10 is useless.
Pretty straight forward and maybe it's what you already used. I am curious if someone uses the SP after 7 in the solo, or uses SP 10. _________________

3-3-3 is definitely the way. I finally got the FC and I'm in 6th place, about 1k points out of first. |

Isn't it better to do 3-1-2-2? _________________

Nope, just be inventive with the activations. 3-3-3 FTW. |

Oh okay! I just figured since it was that way for the other three difficulties it'd be better here...but I can see now why the difference is for hard. Thanks! _________________

NIN - What the hell is the path? 165k is crazy.
I just got 9th place on this song, with a slightly tweaked version of Slowhand's path.
On the 3rd activation, instead of going on the R note, I activated on the YB chord right before it, and squeezed in the O note. Got me 164.5k, although I know I was missing a few hold points here and there, it wasn't 500 points worth.
What's your version NIN? eXcelon? _________________

Like whoever that is doing all the crazy stats, 3-1-2-2 seems like it is the better path, though NIN swears to 3-3-3...who knows I bet they are similar at least. _________________

I agree with NIN, Hard has less notes than Expert if you were to use sp in the solo |

Hard has less notes in the solo, but you have to remember - by going 3-3-3, you waste potential whammy. Splitting it up into 3-1-2-2 doesn't seem like it's as many notes, but it is. Four of the measures in the solo are already much better than some of those you can get outside of it anywhere else in the song. _________________

I'd considered this, but when I realised I was in 2nd anyway, I thought bugger it. Feel free to bump me down on YRGM if indeed it is better |

Yeah going 3 at the end wastes an incredible amount of whammy, with 2 you almost have a full bar of SP, the third is not necessary.
Now if only I could finally FC this...damn end solo. _________________
