I know that there's not much discussion in the Hard forums as most people prefer to play on Expert. I'm still fairly new to the game and I've got a long ways to go, so Hard is best for me for now.
I really want to FC this song for two reasons:
1) I really like this song.
2) No one has done it yet.
As for the Star Power path, I've tried a few different things and it seems that there's no good way to use SP without overwriting a SP section. Any thoughts?
Also, I'm having a bear of a time with Solo A. Does anyone else find it amazingly difficult? I slowed it down to learn the timing, which I think I've got a good handle on, but I just cannot get through it on normal speed without missing a few notes because it's just so darn fast. If it wasn't a SP section I probably wouldn't be so concerend with it. |

i'm getting closer... 99%
you have to miss the 3rd SP (RO chords) and perhaps the next star power in the middle of the 2nd verse
i'm looking at the charts now. |

ok here is what i do
get 2, whammy both... wait for the b-------b b b and activate just after that initial hold (or during for some cushion). SP will run out at the last BO chord
now for the hard part
whammy all the quick SP chords and the whole GY chord (should get 95-100% SP). wait for the BO 16note chords (during solo 1b) activate before those
get the next star power and whammy the whole GY chord (should get full SP). use on the next stream of notes (same pattern as intro)
you'll then get 3 more SP, one on the G R b------------, and 2 in the next solo
2 ways to use...
1(safe way) at the end of the GYGYGYGGYGYGYGYGGY it goes GYGYGYGY - activate on the 2nd to last Y, should last through the section before the outro, just barely getting the GY chord under 8x
2(agressive, more points) get to the 4th SP and whammy the first 4(or 5) and immediately activate SP, you'll have enough to last the song (including the gap) and you'll get 3 or 4 of the last SP chords under 8x. If you cant hit the ending, do not go this route
This does not follow the expert path, i have not tried the expert path on hard. I just know i have a killer score with it. |

Congrats on the FC- definitely an amazing accomplishment. I'm not too terribly worried about SP paths yet as I'm still working on the few areas in the song that trouble me. The solo towards the end that goes YBBB YY YBBB YY always messes me up and it has two SP paths. I simply can not hit it consistently. The part shortly after with BOOO BOOO BOOO eludes me as well. I really need to stop playing through the song and work on the specific areas in practice mode. |

I could very well FC this. I was playing this song like mad last night. I can get every part, I just need to string it together. My highest score so far is around 250,000. _________________

Are you sure? eXcelon FC'd it and he barely broke 250k. You should definitely submit your score. |

What sort of score and percentage do you need to get 5 stars. It's the only song on hard that i haven't 5 starred and I can't figure out what I need to get. |

You need a 2.8 average multiplier to get 5 stars.
Looking at the score page, just over 132k is the lowest 5 star. |

It's almost crazy how much star power they put into this song. You have to skip like 4 sections to optimize it. _________________
