The purple section in this one I think is the optimal path if you FC it, but the blue part may give you more points otherwise.

Is there some alternative path to avoid solo D, and get the nearest score possible from the optimal?

Wow, I've beaten the upper-bound score at measure 53, my best ends with 73, not 69. And i've gotten it on vid too, i'll upload it asap. Wouldn't that be sweet beating upper-bound score?

Good luck getting the solo d optimal squeeze, that requires getting ticks off of the orange sustain before the start of the d, that was the reason I quit going for upper-bound, but I've gotten what you said on the first squeeze & I've hit optimal on the 2nd last squeeze.
