I'd go 4 on the last one and activate on measure 135.

I figured 2-2 instead of 4 to get the sustain SP from the last two phrases. Are you sure 4 is better?

3-3-1-2-1-2-2 got me 1st by over 1K last week. Here it is graphically (and tiny):

Less Talk More Rokk (Hard) SP

Two things to keep in mind: The activation at 89 should occur at the very end of the blue hold, and the activation at 112 should also occur during the end of the RO hold. Including those, all of the other squeezes/activations are what I used.

Some of debr5836's calculated squeezes are impossible, but the path is *just* barely better than mine by a note and some hold points. The first activation, for instance, needs to be moved back to the G note, along with several others needing to be moved back a note, and then it should be optimized. I'd estimate a perfect to be around 260800-261200 depending on what squeezes you're actually able to get...just short of 260800 is the best I'm capable of.

I level-set the squeeze algorithm based on an examination of the first 20 of Barbaloot's expert charts. They certainly require both early whammying to get more SP and exploiting most of the timing window. There are even some charts for which this algorithm is not aggressive enough.

However, I agree that this one is too aggressive. I'll have to go bug-hunting through my code here. Hopefully I'll go find something.

I realize I'm a newbie here, but what are you guys talking about above?

Also, what are the little quarter notes with numbers next to them for in the .png file?
